Chapter 7 by Robinrestless Robinrestless

Learning their fate

The Apache have plans for them

The Apache braves continued **** and abusing Lisa throughout the night. She noticed that once the novelty of a new woman wore off, the braves returned to the other five women as well. Lisa lost track of the number of times she was fucked. At some point during the ordeal her wrists were bound and she too was staked down.

The sun finally came up. The Indians had drifted off to sleep later in the night. Now they stood around, eating and laughing. Lisa realized that her first observation had been wrong; instead of the six braves there were more like fifteen.

Some food scraps were tossed into the corral that held a dozen or so children. The children scrambled like animals for the scraps. Nothing was offered to the women.

The Apache soon appeared ready to move. They tied the children together in a line before releasing the women. An assortment of torn and dirty dresses were tossed down on the ground. "Dress or the sun will cook you!" One Indian laughed with the command.

Lisa picked up a tattered dress and pulled it on; it was way too big, but it cover most of her body. She picked up a piece of torn fabric and covered her head, encouraging the other women, most of whom were still in shock or were weeping softly, to make sure their heads were covered. Lisa knew the sun would be brutal.

One brave came by and linked the six women with one long rope. He tied one end to a pony. Obviously the women and children were going to walk behind the Indian's ponies. A few of the settlers' wagon horses were piled with the plunder taken from the burned wagons.

"We go!" The Apache leader finally spoke to the women. "Mexico two days walk. You bring good price there. We buy new rifles and supplies."

The Indians headed off. The women and children walked slowly behind in two lines each tied to a pony. Lisa wondered how many of them would survive the two-day trip through the wilderness to Mexico. She wondered if it was worth surviving. She wondered if a rescue was even possible.

What happens after the first day's march?
