Just a Little Longer...

IMP then banged on his chest, opening a hatch and revealing a bright, green lightbulb. It blinded him, but then his groans of discomfort turned into pained ones. "Green doesn't do you justice, Super." You, Justin, and Vigilante arrived in time to watch the horrifying show. You had an open-mouthed, wide-eyed look of terror; at that moment, I.M.P.'s irises glowed white again and he grinned so devilishly! He kept the compartment in his chest open, continuously shining the light on Superman that **** him back and to fall on his back.

"Kryptonite..." Superman groaned, shielding his eyes.

"Give this man a prize. He's a genius," he taunted. He kicked the side of Super's stomach, making him fall over the edge of the platform. Then he fired his new heat vision at Lantern, knocking him out, and out of the air. The only ones left were Flash who ran off, Harley that came running up the other hallway you faced, and Hawkgirl who was doing her best to block, with her mace, or evade I.M.P.'s arsenal of tricks.

"Puddin'!" Harley smiled and hugged you tight, being twirled around once by you. She switched to Harleen, explaining the situation. "This bruiser just showed up almost out of nowhere, and nobody's been able to stop him."

"Until today." You kiss her cheek and gently moved her aside to face I.M.P. "Hey, punk!" He looks down at you, smirking at the help coming in with you.

"So... this is what's left? The runts of the litter!" Everyone armed their weapons, and you summoned your teleportation staff. "Hope you fight better than the company you keep." Then J'onn rose in the air, catching your eye in the time it takes to blink before it goes back to I.M.P. His ears heard a gentle flapping of the Martian's cape and as soon as he heard him charging, I.M.P. extended his arm out to you, and when you all were readying yourselves for an attack, he grinned and redirected his hand at J'onn and blasted him with green fire! He screamed in pain and was knocked into the window, falling to the floor **** as you all and I.M.P. watched. "Gotcha..." He then flew down to Martian and grabbed his throat, and even from a distance, you recognized white rings traveling up his arm... he's draining the Martian's energy!
