"I've always wondered what it's like to fly," Artemis said.

"can't you fly already?" Hermes asked.

"yeah, with my chariot, but you're one of the few gods that can fly on their own. I've always wondered what that's like!"

"alright then!" Hermes embraced Artemis in a hug and the goddess melted in his embrace. "hold on tight!"

Hermes took off into the air with incredible speeds. Hermes and Artemis flew across the land and sea, taking in the sights of the mortal made monuments. Artemis had seen some of them from a distance while she towed the moon across the sky, but to see them up close was breath taking.

eventually it was night time, and Artemis and Hermes landed on the island Delos, Artemis's birthplace. "Man, I haven't seen this place since me and Apollo were born!" Artemis said happily.

Hermes looked at the sky and saw the sun setting over the horizon. "hey the sun's setting, shouldn't you be towing the moon across the sky?"

Artemis sat down against a cave wall. "Nah, Mani's on moon duty today, so I can just enjoy the sunset today." Hermes sat down beside her and the two watched the sun disappear, enjoying each others company. "I had fun today!"

"I'm glad, I know it wasn't much, though to be fair that's partially your fault," Artemis giggled at his little comment. "But had a great night too."

Hermes placed his hand over Artemis' hand and the two made eye contact. Artemis and Hermes leaned towards each other, preparing to kiss, but just as they could feel the heat of each others breath, Artemis quickly pulled away from him. "What am I doing?!" Artemis asks herself.

"Artemis? are you alright?"

"no-I mean yes-I mean...I'm sorry Hermes, but this whole time I'd spent following my heart, I had almost forgotten about my vow. For some reason my vow hasn't been on my mind at all, I've felt...strange for a while and I don't know what's going on and these feelings I have make my heart want to explode because I can't be with you!" Artemis said frustratedly as her eyes began watering.
