Queenie the bee

You start off through the rest of the insect kingdom, but keep glancing back towards where Queenie was. She seems to idly buzz about, stopping to preen herself a bit by fixing odd hairs or carefully adjusting her short antennae. She seems a bit lonely to you, **** for attention in an odd way. And the fact that she chose you out of who knows how many, according to the clerk, that you?re compelled to find out more about her.

You can?t bear to look around much longer before you take the clerk?s shoulder. ?Say? would it be alright if I went with Queenie??

You?re already staring at her, and she seemed distracted by nothing in particular when her antennae suddenly perk up.

?Hm? Oh, of course. It?s totally up to you, man,? the clerk insists.

You walk up to Queenie, your collar in hand. Her large, shimmering eyes brighten even more than usual, and she bolts upright. You don?t have to say a thing as she closes her eyes, nearly shivering in excitement as she holds her head up to give you full reach of her neck.

You smile and slip it around her.

?Mmmmm,? she hums/buzzes pleasurably, her wings fluttering in excitement and picking her a few inches off the ground before coming back down.

?You have made a wise choice, master,? Queenie coos to you, slipping two of her arms over your neck. Her voice is soft and careful, very practiced and intellectual sounding.

?I?m sure you?ll find me to be the finest companion you could hope for in this entire store. I do expect you to take good care of me. I am a true queen bee, afterall,? she says. She sounds a bit haughty, but not quite cold. She talks as though you?re just right for her, but she?s outright perfect. Frankly, you?re finding it pretty hard to disagree with her.

?Well since you call me master, maybe it would be fair to call you Mistress?? you offer diplomatically. Dealing with Queenie may be delicate by the sound of things, but well worth it.

?Hmm? perhaps. We?ll have much to talk about as far as how our partnership will blossom to its fullest.?
