Deciding to finally break the awkward silence, he clears his throat as he thinks of whatever he could say to her. He had a million thoughts in his mind, but nothing he could say could really explain or excuse what he just did (and was about to do).

"I know you're scared, and probably angry. I... I won't hurt you... Not too much." He says, not even able to come across as assertive or sure of himself as the situation was overwhelming and intimidating even for him. And his obvious lack of confidence wasn't the most reassuring to her, it painted him as a bit unstable, like someone who could snap at any given moment. But at the same time it could be interpreted as someone who could be made to change his mind, with a lot of convincing, and not carry on with his evil plans; she wanted to believe that.

It wasn't the case tho, he was simply overwhelmed by the intensity of the new situation, all the possibilities in front of him and the excitement of there being nothing to stop him from experimenting with his BDSM fantasies. And he had a lot of time to do that, in fact he could keep her there forever if he wanted to, if it wasn't for the fact he rented the place for 10 days and it was already quite expensive (3 out of 10 days had already passed preparing the whole thing before she arrives).
