Lauren intervenes

Not able to hold back, Lauren started to yell, feeling angry. “I’m the bad influence?!” She yelled. “You’re the one who made your daughter go on a date naked!”

“Excuse me?” Esther said.

“Emily was absolutely miserable and upset on our date because of you! You want to know why we were both naked? It’s because I was trying to cheer her up! I got her confidence back!” Lauren yelled. “It was you that made her do all this in the first place! If you were concerned with Emily not being slutty or a prostitute, maybe you shouldn’t have sent her without clothes!”

“How dare you!” Esther yelled.

“No, fuck you!” Lauren shouted. “You can’t just barge in here and tell Emily how to live her life?! You especially can’t tell her who she can see! I may not be your ideal image of who you want your daughter dating, but she’s my girlfriend now, and you’ll have to live with that! I refuse to have it any other way!”

Esther glared at Lauren. Emily stared at Lauren, not knowing what to think. Lauren took a deep breath, not sure what she just did and if she was going to regret doing it.
