Katie’s Party

Standing outside of the Residential Area that Katie was staying in, Mark could hear the echos of music from the speakers blasting.

He looked up at the clear night sky, what a night it was. Not a cloud in sight, their were bright stars everywhere. Mark felt the slight cool breeze, he tried to compose himself before entering.

Walking through the front doors, he was led down a hallway, past some dorm rooms to their main common room here. He instantly felt like he shouldn’t have been there, it looked to be about twenty to thirty people inside, at least twenty five of those people would have been seniors.

He looked around and spotted Winter, she was deep in a chat with a couple of senior guys. That bothered him slightly, probably would have been hard to speak with her yet. Then there was Katie of course, having a dance with some friends in the middle of the room that was cleared out for the night.

Amongst those dancing, he saw some familiar faces. T1 and T2, Tayla and Taylor, two incredible popular and sexy senior girls. Tatiana a curly haired brunette also made her way on to the dance floor wearing a skirt and literally just a bra. Interesting clothing choice he thought to himself but he certainly wasn’t complaining.

“What the hell, Mark? How in the heck di you cop an invite here?” said a voice coming from beside him.

Mark turned to see Jess standing there in a nice green dress.

“Oh hey Jess! Winter invited me along, what are you doing here?” he replied, happy to see a familiar face.

“Oh come on, is that really a question? The first time I met you, I told you that there’s not a single party in the area that I don’t know about,” she boasted, once again giving him that famous teasing smirk.

Mark and Jess chatted for a bit, she told him that it was a pretty exclusive party. Even Tiffany didn’t manage to get an invite as Katie was really trying to keep the numbers down.

Not long after, someother senior girl appeared that Jess knew well.

Once again, he was back on his own, he spent the next half an hour or so just waiting for the few people he knew to move away from the people they were either speaking to or dancing with. Just to give him an opportunity to speak with them alone.

Eventually, he noticed Winter walk away from the boys she was chatting with. Almost the exact same time that the girls on the dance floor began to break up.

Now he had some choices.
