You do what no smart person ever would do and enter the forest

You are sure that if you look back at this, you'll be shocked at how stupid you were. Following the howling of a wolf in a dark forest with only a mobile phone as a flashlight is not only careless but downright suicidal. But you do it anyways for the girl you love. Well, at least nobody can say you wouldn't do anything for her.

You enter the forest carefully. It's pitch black and the moving light from your phone makes all the branches look alive. You don't dare call out Jenny's name, instead, you look for things like footprints. You aren't sure if you have any chance of finding her in the dark and if there is a wolf there, you hope he hasn't already scented you. You feel safer when it's quiet since a wild animal could be behind every rustle.

After a while, you enter a small rocky clearing with a few small flowers blooming around you. As your eyes adjust to the moonlight you see the creature in the middle. At first, you think it has to be the wolf you heard but this thing is much bigger than any wolf could ever be. The creature slowly growls while it stands up. It's almost half a meter higher than you when it stands upright and the tense muscles on its fur-covered chest probably have more strength than the wrestling champions you've seen on tv.

You look at the creature silently. There is no way this thing could be from this world. It has fur like a wolf and a face somewhat like a wolf too but it's able to stand on two animal-like feet with long claws. Its hands are like a mix of wolf and human also bearing long, sharp claws. You do not doubt that these claws could easily turn you into shashlik.

Suddenly the creature lets out a huge, bloodcurdling roar. Its mouth is almost as big as your whole head and has a number of murderously pointy teeth. Then it jumps at you. The sharp claws on its hand and the teeth are ready to rip you in pieces. You have to either flee, fight or pray that God has mercy on you and offers you a place in heaven.
