"Walk." The Spider says, no affect to her voice, jabbing at the two healers with her blade. She's untied their feet, urging them forward through the woods.

"Please, just let us go!" the young redhead sobs. "We're nae threat to you, cannae tell anyone who ye are!"

"No can do, lassie." Roland remarks, the **** leader slung over his shoulder as he leads the way. "Gods, don't you just love that accent? Gonna be such a shame when we make a thrall of you. Your voice changes, you know? Goes all dull and monotonous."

"Thrall? What? I have no idea what you're-"

"Peace, Oraela." the older healer says bravely. "Take solace in the Spirits."

"You better had girl, you'll get none from the demons." Roland laughs.

"Good on you, getting your hands dirty, Lion." Roland says over his shoulder. "This one could've been trouble."

"I-it was nothing." you say. "The two of you were incredible."

"Thanks mate. With me, it comes down to a lifetime a' practice. With The Spider, well, she's skilled, but everyone knows she gets by one being three-quarters demon." Roland says, sounding not a little sniffy.

"Really?"

"It's the truth. Her dad was half-demon, too." The Shark informs you. "She's stronger, more agile than us halfies. I mean, you see me flipping about on tree branches?"

"I suppose not."

"I shouldn't complain though." Roland admits. "Bein' half demon's given us plenty of incredible abilities. There's being part of this bloodline, for one, and I bet you know a thing or two about the augmented sexual prowess!"

"I may." you chuckle. Oraela gasps in terror, and you find it entirely alluring.

"Being able to breathe underwater, that's probably my favourite one, though." The Shark remarks.

"Yeah, I think that's just you." you respond.

"Really? None of my friends could do it growing up."

"Crétin, did any of them have gills? Do we?" Corinne interjects, the frustration evident in her tone.
