Tatooine

One of the worst places to be in this galaxy, a hot desert planet full of sand, slavery and ****. The planet is controlled by the Hutts, the galactic gangsters of the galaxy. While the planet could be a great trade hub thanks to the five hyperspace routes connecting to it, there are other problems like the location of the planet and the crime and slavery that riddles it, due to it being under Hutt Cartel control. This would make it unlikely that there would be any advancement in Tatooine, unless someone else can take control of it.

The population of Tattooine is around 80,000-200,000 (excluding visitors). This is very small in comparison to other planets. This could be due to how uninhabitable the desert planet is to most species.

Jabba Desilijic Tiure is the Hutt in control of Tatooine. It would be wise not to cross him as it seems he is very unpredictable. Things in Tatooine seem to be slightly calm and more stable since Jabba the Hutt came into power. Well, as calm and stable as a lawless land can be.
