Slowly stirring awake in the seats of the Javelin, Superman, Wonder Woman and Mera sat up and looked around. The Javelin was heading into space towards the watch tower on auto pilot and the three were fully dressed and sitting in their seats and properly buckled in, with Mera still cradling the glowing diamond in her lap, the thing undamaged. All three looked exhausted and slick with sweat as if they had been in some extraneous activity.

“Was… Was that a dream?” Asked Superman, scratching his head and looking back at the two women, looking just as flushed as he did.

“I don’t know… But it was wonderful.” Sighed Diana, leaning back in her chair and resting her head against the seating. Closing her eyes she smiled at the experience. False or real, it showed her that her mother’s new state was not to be feared after all. For a moment she felt unconditional love; love without jealousy, guilt or limit, and it was wonderful.

Looking down at himself, nothing seemed out of place save for how tired he felt and how slick his skin was. Pulling back the neckline of his costume, Clark’s eyes went wide when he discovered under his shirt, his chest and stomach was covered in violet lip stick marks.
