The Night Begins To End

As Anna returned to the living room and took her spot next to JJ once more the front door opened, Kailyn and Mindy walked inside shuddering from the cold. "Oh my god, please tell me that is a fire in there!" Kailyn called out while unzipping her coat and quickly hanging it up,

"Fire, movie, drinks, and good company!" Brian called back with a chuckle,

The two girls kicked off their boots and rushed into the room, dropping down in front of the fire and warming their hands. Mindy glanced behind her, smiling towards Kenny who had a light hold around Zoey who was dozing off on his chest, "Aw, so cute, I might throw up," She teased causing the teen to let out a short chuckle,

"Fun day?" Kenny sarcastically replied, "Or did all these good vibes just show up for the hell of it?"

Mindy gave her eyes a tossed and laughed, "Despite being in a car for basically the whole day, yeah it was pretty good, I think I should spend more time with Kailyn," The young Asian replied, giving Kailyn a friendly smile,

"Anytime, all you have to do is ask," Kailyn instantly replied,

"Hey, you better not be trying to steal my bestie there Mindy, only one I got," Rachel teasingly interjected,

"Please, I wouldn't dream of it," Mindy assured the blonde girl, "I got Kenny and JJ, that's all I need,"

"That's all, eh?" Brian smirked, raising a brow towards her,

Mindy stared back at Brian for a moment, a near sly smile on her lips before saying, "Yeah, that's all,"

"Alright, well on that note, I'm gonna head upstairs and get to bed," Brian announced while standing up, "Tiring day, and I don't want to sleep tomorrow away when we only have a few days left on this trip,"

"I second that," Rachel smiled, "But Kai, come with me, I want to talk a little before we hit it. I felt like we've barely spent any time together,"

"Sure, sounds good," Kailyn nodded while getting to her feet, following the blonde girl out of the room, "Night guys," She waved to the others,

"Guess we'll be going too," Kenny yawned as he gently began to shake Zoey, "Hey, come on, let's go to sleep, hmm?"

"Yes please," Zoey softly murmured back, weakly getting to her feet, and following Kenny out of the room, leaning on his shoulder with her eyes nearly closed still,

"Night pal," Brian nodded to Kenny, "So, I know we aren't friends and all, but you still sharing a bed with me?" Brian asked Mindy who broke into a short grin,

"I'll still consider it," Mindy held out a hand and Brian took it, helping her to her feet, "Night JJ, Night Anna, I hope you two have a nice night,"

"Seeya," JJ said with a quick wave as the pair left, the athlete then turned to Anna who was blankly staring at the television, "You going to bed too?" Anna didn't respond, "Anna, hey, you going to bed?"

"Hmm?" Anna finally hummed back, JJ's voice registering and pulling her out of her thoughts, "Oh I..."
