Brawl your way out

One of your captors grabs the crewmember closest to him and pushes him down to his knees. "Say a prayer if you want," he says as he points his pistol to the trembling man's skull.

You grit your teeth, hoping Will is watching, and charge at him in a full sprint. You leap into the air and full-body tackle Caesar's lackey, knocking him to the ground. "Oof" you hear, as the wind is knocked out of him, then the deafening sound of a flintlock pistol firing. The man you tackled had pulled the trigger, but the pistol meant to be aimed at your fellow captive's head was now pointed in the air, and the bullet flew aimlessly into the jungle.

Yours ears still ringing slightly, you see the other two goons yell and point their guns in your direction. But before they can do anything, Will slips out of the dense greenery behinds him, knife in hand. He grabs one by the shoulder and drives the knife into their back in the same motion. Before the third goon can turn and fire his pistol, he has already been taken down by a few of your fellow captives.

You suddenly remember the man you had tackled to the ground, but before you can redirect your attention to him he is already wrestling you. You struggle for a few moments but thanks to your lapse in attention, he's able to get you in a front mount position on the ground. Pinning you down, he starts to reach for your neck—but is promptly swept away by a mob. The other crewmembers from your group set upon him with both fists and knives, making short work of him.

You get up from the ground and collect yourself. All three of the mutineers lay dead on the ground. Brushing the dirt off your shirt, you turn to the rest of the crew. They're looking at you expectantly—it seems your initiative made you the de facto leader for now.
