Upping the stakes

"If you aren't going to help me..." Helen groaned, her hands raising in a bit of frustration. "Ok, fine, what more could you want?"

"I think I want you."

"You've already had me. A lot of times." Helen remarked. "Which I still... can't believe I want to happen again."

"Me too. Which is why I want to make it long term with the four of us if I win."

"You're kidding." Helen remarked, looking over at Charlotte, whose hands rubbed together in glee.

"Oh dear, you duhn it now, dahlin." Charlotte drawled happily. "Ah think he's hooked."

"What about me?" Kaila gasped out.

"Oh, you say nothing about it, my dear wife. If they want to be with you, that's their choice, not yours. Frankly, I think these two should get a little **** on you while I'm out enjoying myself with the others."

Kaila's face was a mixture of shock and arousal as her eyes flitted back and forth between the other two women in the cabin.

"Ah think he gets it now." Charlotte drummed her fingers across the table softly.

"Wait, you're not just going to leave me alone with them." Kaila remarked as Helen brought her left hand into her other palm. The soft sound of a crack was heard through the room as she pressed against it roughly.

"Don't do anything permanent, ok?" I smirked. "You three have fun, and when I get back, if you're asleep, I'll just take the front room with whoever I bring home."

"Ok... then here's the game. You screw up the date, you lose. Because I can absolutely see you striking out with both of them. They might decide to go home together and drop you off." Helen offered, the terms bluntly.

She had a point, I realized. Nikki had been awfully excited to race out and meet Maria. I didn't really know either of them on more than a fairly superficial and biblical level.

"So you still haven't said what I win by betting. You can't really double or nothing anything I want."

"Sure ah can." Charlotte drawled. "Ah know what you are into, Brent."

"Don't play dirty." I warned her. "Looking at somebody's porn history is cheating and you know it."

"Hey, it's a tool. Gotta use what's available." Charlotte twisted her hand dramatically. "But ah double anythang... by simply doing it for anotha day."

"Nah, too low stakes." I remarked. "If I'm going to double anything I want it long term."

"They're not going to be your willing slaves, Brent." Kaila gasped out.

"I don't want willing slaves... more accomplices. I could totally use a couple partners helping me around the house when the baby finally comes." I scratched at my chin. "I mean, gotta start thinking about that kinda thing now."

"Child care? You're going to make a sex bet for child care?"

"Less child care, more au pair. Might as well live the rich and famous stereotype and **** my power a little." A thought ran through my head that maybe I could get Charlotte to do an English accent.

The sound of a car horn beeping twice from the front of the cabin gained my attention.

"I guess that's my cue. Ok... I can work with this. I strike out, we're back at where we were this morning before the craziness. I bring a gal home, we double the bet. Deal?"

The murmurs of assent and smiles about the cabin were a perfect send off as I left. I opened the front door, and let it shut quietly behind me as the sound of voices picked up again behind me.

The sight of an idling White car with two women in the front seat greeted my eyes, and I took in a flurry of motion as the driver waved. At me. I was glad that I'd at least dressed a little more warmly than usual, and the beams of the headlights were clearly visible in the small particles that swirled about the space between me and the car.
