Chapter 15 by Progenitor Progenitor

Does she give any sort of direction?

West

"The lake is west, across Hyrule Field, many, many days journey. That is, if anyone could ever find their way out of the forest." Mita began. She smiled, but something in it was sad, forlorn. "When Ganon's demons and monsters ran us from the lake we were truly lost. If there are Zoras still there... I pity them."

She reflected back on the girl's comments about the Cobrapeople as she set the table for their meal.

"Perhaps not, but perhaps, too, you'll have to excuse me. I've learned our place in the world. You can hardly blame me for being unable to differentiate from what's right in your case, and what's wrong. It is our way, after all, to catch fish and not reflect on their feelings about it."

Mita began to eat. Candles lit the room, the flames illuminating everything around them in orange in a wavy, almost ethereal way.

"Magic is all things for the Torn Belly. It's how we maintain our status, especially here in the woods. As for getting along... My girl, I dearly hope so. You have no idea, no idea, how grateful I am to see you. If I may make a pun, we need to get along swimmingly if our race is to outrun extinction."

Mita dabbed her mouth with a napkin.

So many 'swimmers' puns can go here...
