What was their plan to face Azula?

"You know," Mai said. "I think I saw someone at the tavern..."

_Ten minutes later..._Azula pressed herself close to the tree, waiting for her traitorous underlings to come closer to her. She braced herself, cheeks reddening at the memory. When it sounded like they were close enough...

"Aha!" Azula cried, throwing herself out of the cover of the tree, fingers splayed out, ready to call forth lightning.

She had, in that second, enough time to register three things. One, Ty Lee and Mai had decided to turn on her even more, and rather than just stripping her, were now travelling with the avatar, Sokka, and Katara. Two, they were travelling with another person, a woman with long dark hair riding a large furry beast Azula was fairly sure was called a shirshu.

Three, said shirshu's tongue lashed out as soon as she jumped out, so rather than calling down lightning upon anyone that saw the magnificence of her body, she was hit by the paralyzing toxin in the shirshu's tongue as it hit a spot just below her breast.

Azula wobbled for a moment, and then fell flat on her face. She could feel them staring at her.

"I can't believe that worked," Ty Lee said, shocked. Then she started cheering.

Azula gave a muffled, incoherent, annoyed groan. An annoyed huff blew a few leaves sideways as her face stayed steadfastedly in the dirt.

"Should we... turn her over?" Aang said.

Azula thought about that. She gave a much more angry-sounding scream, unable to make much more than those paralyzed noises.

"Huh. Venom's not usually that effective," June said. "She must've really spooked Nyla."

The shirshu huffed, as the gang ignored Azula's wishes and placed their hands on her side, rolling her over, letting her breathe air and exposing the rest of her intimates to the air and their eyes. Azula gave another incoherent, stationary yell.

"So what do we do with her?" Sokka said.

"So long as we're far, far away, I don't mind," Ty Lee said. She looked at Mai. "We should run now."

Azula yelled after them.
