Make the world more fun

You jostle your wrist around for a bit, evaporating the black hole on your hand.

Sophie: "You know, the world's pretty much rubbish when you think about it. Anxiety, depression and corporate monopolies are becoming commonplace, the rich and only the rich are getting richer, bananas and bees are dying out and well... the whole planet's boned basically."

Shifting your weight to another leg, you bring a contemplating hand onto your chin.

Sophie: "Now there's really a whole lotta ways I could mix up this deck, but I don't wanna impose my own will onto billions of people all willy-nilly. Not without some feedback, at least."

Quickly, you scamper back indoors, retrieve your laptop and settle onto the couch. The TV channel you left on has stopped freaking out about levitating glasses, now being more concerned over reports about the Moon turning green and ring-y.

You set up a Twitch livestream to your meager 20 followers, two of who are online at the moment - no wonder, you'd normally be at work right now.

Sophie: "Let's pump up those numbers a bit..."

Another flip of your ears, this time for a much more subtle change. By concentrating carefully, you manage to divert the internet traffic of the closest 10,000 online Twitch users to swap their streams for yours. The hundreds of confused or misguided messages filling the chat confirm that your little switcharoo worked. In confusion, they are greeted by a mischevious, illegally-cute catgirl.

Sophie: "Hiya, you guys! Sorry for interrupting, but I've got something pretty important to tell you. I'm not really sure myself how it happened, but I'm pretty sure I've become God. Here, let me prove it for you:"

Very pointedly flipping your ears and creating a little visible glow around them for emphasis, you create 10,000 gift baskets on the tables of each of your viewers, containing a few different non-allergenic fruits, pairs of socks, gift cards, a Maneki neko statue and a brand-new iPhone, re-programmed to remove spy- and bloatware, and with a functioning battery.

Sophie: "In case some of you didn't hear the news already, I also turned the Moon into a ring around planet Earth. I know that's pretty random, but I don't wanna just mess around or whatever. So, I'm gonna do some viewer suggestions! For 100 bits I'll grant your wishes. Just don't wish for anything stupid, 'cause I reserve the right to not grant it."

The chat goes mad. It is very evident that something supernatural is occuring, though many of the viewers have difficulties processing all of this. Nevertheless, bits start absolutely flying. Most people wish for small, admittedly selfish things, which you grant out of kindness. Then, a major, world-affecting wish comes up.
