Eventually

Hilda and Sally spent the rest of the day in Hilda's former home.

Sally held and comforted her mistress until the poor woman cried herself to sleep.

Then, the next day, the two naked woman were promptly booted of the property by royal agents, who took possession of her empty keep and put it up for auction.

For the sake of their dignity, the two continued to claim to be Bare-Barians, but Sally didn't think they bought it.

After that, they wandered in the woods in the buff, slowly making their way to a town in the hopes they could find something to cover themselves with.

Hilda was adamant they not return to the Village of Pilla, saying she had endured enough shame there already, so instead the denuded duo made their way in the opposite direction towards the Town of Swindella (it had many similarities to Pilla, not that Hilda or Sally realized that).

Finally, they had their first stroke of luck when they happened upon the secluded grounds of a small church on the edge of the town...
