Talk to the waitress or talk to Delilah?
Talk to Delilah. [Continue Delilah's path.]
You internally sigh; nearly hating yourself too much as you cursed yourself for looking at another woman like that while Delilah was in front of you. She...really was stuffing her face now. It seems that she was really enjoying the food you suggested she'd like. The waitress you were eyeing before gives Delilah a worried glance before giving you a disgusted stare, as if disappointed in your choice of women. You shrug and tell her that there isn't anything she could do for either of you. She rolls her eyes and strolls off someplace else.
Your eyes return to the girl you went out on a date with. Even though she's a little less precious as she eats, you can still admire her. Clearly, she's comfortable around you to be this messy. You shouldn't think any less of her; you wouldn't want to be here with anyone else right now. Delilah perks up, shooting a glance at the waitress. "She's wearing a lot of make up, I bet she's trying to cover her actual age." She says flatly, in a tone of voice that was mocking and rude. You haven't seen this side of her before...?
"Ugh," she looks at you. "And did you see her eyes? Gross, I bet that was one of them." She shudders.
...Right...
Delilah had negative feelings about the "new sub-humans" that were unfortunately exposed to a less-than-lethal dose of radiation. You didn't care for them much, but you knew people that grew up in the more isolated pockets of the country didn't really like them too much. Most of the sub-humans had gnarly reputations, so their distrust and hate was well-earned. Where you came from, mutants, or NSH (new sub humans) were a common sight and they acted like any other normal person. You couldn't say the same in this neck of the woods...
When Delilah finishes her meal, you two chat for a bit before the bill comes your way. You pay quickly and ready yourself for a leave. Your plan to begin with was to go to a hotel that you had used a few times before. Grand 7 was it's name, but it looked like the old name had long ago faded - or perhaps it was blown off by radiation? Whatever the case may be, you liked it, and the interior was still untouched by the harsh years that followed after the nuclear onslaught. It was a fair distance from the restaurant, but the night life here was drastically different than it was at the location of Tiny's Tavern... All of the locals of the night are starting to wake up, humans and animals alike. The night was amazingly warm. In fact, you had to dress down a tad bit, removing your jacket.
Paper lanterns light the crowded streets as small stands are opened for the many passing travelers and tourists. You don't bat more than a glance, but Delilah is looking at everything that you pass. Her eyes fix on a few items, which prompts you to stop and ask if there's anything she'd like. You buy a bracelet, some sweet street food, and other snacks. Every item you buy for her causes her to explode with joy. She gives you endless prays and empty promises to "make it back to you". You know she'd try it, but you were doing this out of your compassion for her, not for any personal gain.
The hotel was one of the tallest buildings here. It was lit with golden lights that highlighted it's location in the dark. You break the streets and turn towards the direction of the hotel. It's body is all lit up with amazing lights giving it a godly gold hue. Above it, are letters lit by large crimson bulbs. It reads: Grand 7.
"Wow!" Delilah exclaims, squeezing your arm, nearly jumping. "I have always wanted to go here, you spoil me too much! I don't know how to thank you for doing this for me."
Truth to be told, you didn't want anything in return, but you know Delilah would make it up to you somehow, so you remained generally silent, but also continued to hold her close to your body. "You've seen this building before, haven't you?"
"At night, I almost always do!" She chimes. "It's hard to miss when it's this bright. Ooh! I can hardly wait to go inside. Let's hurry up and check-in!!"
Delilah speeds up ahead of you, dragging you along like a rag doll as she makes her way to the doors of the hotel. You've seen the lobby of the hotel before, but it's Delilah's first time seeing such an amazing sight for herself. For sure, she's speechless, and is completely caught in the moment. She's lost in the structure of the building. The decor is matched by no other for miles, that much you are sure of.
Untouched by the bombs, the center of the lobby, there's a grand water fountain that has a dozen stone statues that all have water pouring at certain ports, the water probably isn't drinkable, but since it's all for show, you don't mind it all. Delilah is fixated on the statues. She gets closer and gasps like a child.
While Delilah admires the decor, you admire how cute she is. Her teal eyes sparkling like gems. Everything the lobby has to offer is made her smile incredibly wide. She looks back and giggles, gesturing at the statues. She bounces around, noticing more and more of the pre-war details. In all honesty, it was impressive how well everything was preserved in here, but you suppose the friendly, isolated population had something to do with this too. Taking advantage of the distant bombs allowed them to settle down and decide what to do with each other - which thankfully wasn't killing each other during the chaos...
Delilah beams at you with a toxic smile, breaking you less than a second after seeing it. "I can't wait to see the rooms that we are going to stay in!"
While Delilah stays at the fountain, you go to the front desk. You are greeted by an attractive red head with dark green eyes and a bountiful chest. She has a suit dark coal suit on. You aren't able to see much because she's behind a tall table. Despite her inviting look, she's giving Delilah the stink eye. Every town has their elites, you suppose...
Before you can speak, the girl looks at you and opens her mouth. "I think you can do better."
She says, looking at Delilah. She rests her elbows on the desk, resting her pale chin on her palm. She drags her eyes back at you and winks.
You're a bit dumbfounded, and aren't sure how to react to the sudden call out from the red head. As she smiles, she nods her head, allowing her double drills to bounce freely on either side. "I mean, come on, look at me, wouldn't you rather fuck a cutie like me instead?"
She stands up, pressing her chest together while leaning towards you. Her green eyes are poison, without saying a word, she's already made you take a step closer to the desk. You keep walking until your faces are a mere foot away from each other. Somehow, your eyes manage to find her name tag pinned to her breast pocket of her suit. It reads: April.
Just a split moment before the girl can press her lips against yours, you pull back and eye her...Are you going let her seduce you after attacking Delilah like that?
What do you do?
