Straight over a mushroom...

The chase just didn’t seem to be stopping. It was hellish to keep running over this rough terrain. With every single lunge of the beasts she had to launch herself out of their arc. She would stumble each time, barely dodging the monsters attacks. This time she stumbled down to her hands and knees and saw it.

The growing protrusion of a black mushroom in the middle of the road wasn’t something that felt to interesting. Now she didn’t feel anything to do with this mushroom... it was just a mushroom... but still, anything to slow down the monsters, so she ripped it up out of the ground, tore off a chunk and threw it at the plant beast.

An interactive survival story that's like a combination of D&D, Dark Souls, and Zelda, YOU play and write as a character in the video game world of IMPREGNATAR. Your character awakens, spawned into the middle of nowhere in a game world with little memory of who they are, how they got there, and all but the faintest of survival assets.
