Chapter 13 by Colleem Colleem

What's next?

A long Talk between Father and Daughter. Hippolyta learns the truth about Eternicus and herself

Mera could hardly believe it. She was one of the fastest beings in all oceans, yet she clearly felt Eternicus holding back. Although he was still in his human form, she knew that this couldn’t be his real form from the records of his leaving, he seemed to have no problem at all to channel his incredible powers. Sadly, she hadn’t been able to look at him in his true form However, he had accepted the queen's offer to accompany him. The journey to the island took a few hours at this pace and as they continued their journey on the surface of the water they could see the shimmering of the magical dome surrounding the island. Mera knew enough about the Amazons to be concerned. She wasn't completely sure if Eternicus was a male being or had just taken the form of a man, but she knew only too well what an Amazon would do to a man who tried to enter the island.

"Lord Eternicus. Please stop," she finally said as they approached the barrier. The Dragon God in front of her paused and levitated several meters above the water.

"What do you wish to say queen?" he asked softly and looked at the red-haired beauty rising halfway out of the water.

"You must know that the inhabitants of this island do not tolerate men there. They belong to an ancient race called the Amazon. They hate men and will try to kill you if you break their laws. I'm not sure if I can protect you," she said worried and immediately felt how ridiculous it sounded. The expression on the creature's face, however, was not amused but grateful.

"Thank you for your concern for my physical well-being. However, I clearly feel the presence of my daughter on this island. Let's go inside now. We'll see what happens. Will you stand by my side?" he smiled and offered her his hand.

Nodding incredulously, she took his hand and felt his power flowing through her body. Together they penetrated the magical field of the island and could see the island on whose shores the Amazons stood ready. While on the coast walls the war machines of the ancient world were set up, on the beaches below, the riders of the Amazons were waiting and ready to fight.

About 200 meters off the coast a single ship was anchored, on which the queen of the Amazons and Artemis were located. The queen wore a golden breastplate and a long, snow-white cloak that blew in a gentle breeze. Behind her stood the redheaded warrior, ready to protect the queen.

Both women watched as Mera jumped out of the water and landed on the ship while Eternicus floated above the ship.

"Queen Mera!" Hippolyta nodded at the Atlantean queen. Artemis looked grimly at her and even more grimly at the man hovering above them. She still had no reason to attack him because he hadn't set foot on the island yet and yet... she couldn't forgive herself for what she had done with Superman. The island was still shrouded in the light of Hippolyta, and though she found it pleasant, there was a little voice in her head reciting the ancient laws of the Amazons.

"Queen Hippolyta of Themyscira. I greet you in the name of my husband and of Atlantis." Nodded Mera and pointed to Eternicus. "I bring you a visitor from my kingdom who has come to see you. He will respect your laws as he has honored the laws of Atlantis!" Mera smiled and could hardly believe she was speaking to Hippolyta. The woman before Mera was a completely different woman. Not necessarily optically, even if the queen had changed a lot, but rather the magical presence the Amazon radiated. Hippolyta had always radiated a certain magic since she was immortal, but this was no longer normal. The light she radiated felt good and yet it was not only a warming light of love but also a pleasant warmth between her legs.

"Father!" nodded Hippolyta and looked up at Eternicus. "Part of me recognizes you, and yet I have never seen you before in my life. Therefore, I shall not meet you as your daughter, but as queen of the Amazons! This means that I must forbid you to enter this holy ground," she said in a firm voice and Eternicus turned his head to the warriors on the coast. He slid down slowly and remained a few inches above the wood of the ship.

Even Artemis couldn't help but look at this man impressed. The aura he possessed was almost overwhelming. He was more than a man, more than a god... he was simply more of everything. But doubts about her hatred that had been gnawing in her heart since last night made her furious. She leapt before the queen and drew her blade and held it to Eternicus' neck. Completely unimpressed by this attack, Eternicus smiled down at the red-haired Amazon and then at the blade at his throat. He felt in no way threatened and ignored Artemis completely.

"Shall we talk?" he asked calmly, and the queen nodded calmly.

"Artemis, my good Artemis. Please. He hasn't broken any of our laws yet, and he knows many things about what is happening to me. I wish to hear him out," Hippolyta said calmly and put one hand on her shoulder. That was enough for Artemis to withdraw and take position behind her again.

Eternicus nodded and jumped overboard and landed on the water. To him, the ocean seemed like solid ground. His feet stood on the water as perfectly safe as if he were on hard ground. Hippolyta nodded at this impressive spectacle and then jumped after it. She too stood on the ocean and walked beside him. Artemis and the Amazons watched in amazement as their queen walked on the water like Jesus, the new son of God.

"Who is he really?" Artemis asked Mera as they walked on the water. She stared in amazement at this man standing on the water next to her queen and felt a clash of feelings germinating within her. She had learned through Superman what lust really meant.

"He's a being that I haven't fully understood yet. Yet he is ancient, and his power is beyond anything we have ever seen in Atlantis. He said he came here to meet his daughter and your queen called him Father. What is going on here?" Mera asked.

But before Artemis could answer, two bright lights glowed under the ocean. One light was a bright, almost unnatural white, while the other light was violet. First, Hippolyta transformed. Mera's jaw dropped as she watched the beautiful queen turn into a dragon before her eyes. With a scream that sounded not angry but simply impressive, the purple dragon, whose contours were unmistakably feminine, lifted its head and opened its mouth. The scream was of such power that even the clouds had to give way to this power. As threatening as this being might appear at first sight, this impression could not be further from the truth. All those present closed their eyes and felt an unrestrained wave of kindness and warmth flowing through their bodies. Images of long forgotten beautiful moments, of people and places came back to the surface.

Mera closed her eyes as she remembered all the beautiful moments with Arthur. Her first kiss, her first sex... she remembered her mother's gentle smile... She finally understood what Eternicus meant. Hippolyta had indeed transformed herself into a manifestation of love. Mera was no fool, though. She was well informed about the Lantern Corps and immediately recognized the connection between Hippolyta and the Star Sapphires. Both were one of the 7 original powers of the universe. One of the 7 power sources of the Lantern Corps. It was the power of love and yet it was not only that. In many cases the Star Sapphire were full of love, but in some cases, they were also sex-obsessed sluts who interpreted the word love a little more broadly.

Was that the power that Eternicus had spoken of? Was it a power like that of the Lanterns? Or... perhaps it was something else entirely. What if the dragons were not a manifestation of the Lanterns, but the Lanterns were just cheap copies of the dragons. As those thoughts were still running through her mind, Eternicus began to transform as well. His armor seemed to liquefy as his form changed into pure light. When the blinding light had disappeared, Mera could no longer take her eyes from him. Hippolyta, or the dragon that she was now, was formidable in his appearance. Despite her feminine features, she was still a formidable monster. Two huge wings that could have easily darkened a football field had meanwhile laid down on her beautiful body again. The 2 curved horns lay close to her skull and reminded Mera of a beautiful crown.

But the being at her side made the mighty dragon lady seem almost tiny. Had Mera managed to take her eyes off Eternicus even for a second, she might have noticed that she wasn't the only one. The will to fight of the Amazons might not have been broken, but they knew that this dragon could not be overcome with a catapult or a sword.

Eternicus snorted only briefly when his transformation was complete, but the difference in size was obvious. Almost twice as big as her, he lowered his mighty neck towards her and both dragons rubbed their heads gently and almost tenderly against each other. Where Hippolyta looked feminine and graceful, Eternicus was the manifestation of masculinity, strength and power. Everything about him was simply impressive. It took Mera almost an eternity to turn her gaze away from that body. But it wasn't just the body. It was the power and the aura that he exuded. Mera looked at her hands and could feel her fingernails starting to grow. It was not that they turned into claws or anything like that, but they just grew a little bit and became more beautiful. When she clenched her fists, she could feel her strength increasing. There it was again. The feeling she had just before her little adventure with the guards. When she saw Eternicus return from his trip to New York, he had exuded the same magic. Something she didn't fully understand yet, and for lack of a better name, simply called life ****. This power, this life ****, had a direct influence on every kind of life. But this was something completely different than back then. She had never seen him in his true form before. She had already guessed that he was not human, but that was incredible. Dragons had been powerful beings in Atlantic history since time immemorial. Mera would have to do some research on this.

"I never imagined that he would be so.... beautiful." she marveled, and Artemis nodded at her.

"We're... not sure where we stand yet!" she finally said and Mera raised an eyebrow.

"WE? Artemis? Are you talking about the Amazons or the Queen?"

"I speak of the fact that the Amazon people are still puzzling over whether this creature is still our Queen." She said thoughtfully.

"What do you think?" Mera asked suspiciously and looked more closely at the female dragon.

"I think that our Queen's will is strong. She spoke of having foreign memories and that this... dragon... is somehow her father... But I believe that she is still our Queen! However, one thing is certain... The Amazons know how to defend themselves against dragons, if necessary. If it becomes clear that someone wants to deceive us, we will defend our heritage. May I ask you a question, too, Queen Mera?"

Mera just nodded thoughtfully. What Artemis said there was interesting.

"Why does the creature's only companion the queen of Atlantis?"

Mera raised an eyebrow and looked at Artemis. She hadn't missed the spike in the question at all. Artemis may have been a capable warrior, but she was no longer an actor. Her diplomatic skills ranked about the same as a starfish.

"If you mean to imply anything, speak from Artemis.

She could hear her teeth grinding clearly and had to grin.

"What I'm saying is... how do we know you're not already under the creature's influence? You could be a dragon too?" she asked bluntly and directly. Mera wasn't really surprised by this direct way. She did not think much of Artemis. She was blinded by her feelings and stopped in time a few thousand years in the past. However, the Amazons and the Atlanteans were ancient allies and so she decided to be a little more diplomatic than necessary.

"I cannot disprove your doubts with words alone. However, in Atlantis the royal house is still ruling. My husband, the King of Atlantis, shares your concern, if I am honest. Eternicus is a being we will probably never fully understand. I'm not even sure he considers the beings of this world his equal. However, I do know that his actions thus far have been friendly. He has made no attempt to use his power against our people. "As long as that remains the case, I will welcome him to Atlantis to learn from him."

An embarrassed cough and an unusual hesitation caused Mera to look more attentively. "Is there anything you want to ask me?"

"Are... you... attracted to him?" she asked sheepishly.

The question was so naive, so ridiculous that Mera had to smile. "I think that an Amazon asking such a question should be enough of an answer. However, I am married and even if you Amazons don't understand or don't want to understand this concept, it means a lot to me. But yes. He is very attractive... ...and without armor it will be even worse! If I weren't married, I'd be long gone to land in his bed and show him how much fun men and women can have." she grinned cheekily and for a moment she wished for nothing more than to tear off her clothes and seduce him. She didn't even notice how lustful and demanding Artemis looked, and only the hard-bronze plate of her armor prevented her from showing how hard her nipples were already. "But as I was saying. I love my husband and would not betray him," Mera lied and thought of the three guards she had allowed to fuck her brains out. Without those guards she would have gone mad for sure. But even if she had never done it with three men at the same time she had been insatiable at that moment.

But she had to admit to herself that she was not telling the full truth. She sensed that Eternicus was having an increasing influence on her. Not only the energy he radiated, but also that she felt attracted to him. However, she regarded the dragon at his side with suspicion. If her theory was correct, his children were filled with an incredible power, but they were also very limited in their thinking and doing. None of his children were truly like Eternicus. Each was a single aspect, a single part of the mighty Dragon father. Even if that power was great, it was that aspect that fundamentally limited the Dragon's thinking. However, Mera was unwilling to voice this suspicion in Artemis. This would only reinforce the suspicion that the queen was no longer completely herself. The last thing Atlantis needed now was a civil war on the island.

Thoughtfully, she looked silently at the two dragons standing side by side on the water. Unfortunately, they were too far away to understand the words of the dragons. She would talk to Eternicus about it later.

The two dragons.

"I do not understand what is happening. I suddenly have knowledge that is not mine. Things I've never seen before and I know you without ever having seen you before. I expect an explanation of what you have done to me and why?" Hippolyta demanded and looked up at Eternicus. It felt strangely familiar being inside a dragon's body. Both bodies were perfectly natural to her. For thousands of years she had lived in the body of a human woman, but now she remembered a life that had lasted eons when she had been a dragon.

"I understand your confusion, my daughter. Forgive me... I meant Queen Hippolyta." Eternicus nodded and shook his mighty head a little. "I will gladly answer your questions, but I fear that the knowledge I bring you will change your world view. Queen Mera has told me your people have turned their backs on men and you hate them."

"Hate... yes... until a few days ago I would have agreed with you, but now I see things differently. I realize that my people and I were blinded. But I also clearly feel that this doubt is fueled by the power you have given me."

"The power of love, yes. Let me explain it to you. The universe, everything that is, everything that will ever be, has a common consciousness. The universe itself is a sentient being. It's not as you can imagine a living being, it's beyond your abilities. However, it has emotions. Anger, greed, fear, willpower, hope, mercy and love."

"And life and ****..." Hippolyta said instinctively, and Eternicus smiled.

"That is so. But the latter are not emotions, but... shall we say... immutability. For everything that lives will die, everything that dies has lived once. It is a basic concept that overlays everything. A long time ago I was alone and symbolized the emotions of the universe, but you understand it better than any of my other children. What it means to be lonely."

Hippolyta nodded slowly. She had given herself to love even before she had been chosen by the dragon. The time before Diana and the time after was the best example for her. You could live, but real life was only possible if you loved.

"So, you created offspring and shaped them to your face?" she asked thoughtfully, and he nodded. "And each of these children... symbolizes one of these emotions? There were seven of us, weren't there?"

"That's right. Through their existence I was able to rest and recover, knowing that my children would keep the universe in balance. But through the Infinite Times, many of them were tired of life or were destroyed by forces beyond their own strength. Recently my last child was killed in a battle without the 2 fighting parties even being aware of his presence. This woke me up. I understand that you are confused that I changed your life against your will and I am sorry for that. But it was not I who chose you, but the universe itself that chose you."

Hippolyta nodded slowly and snorted slowly towards the island.

"I betrayed my people yesterday. I slept with a man! And I loved it!" she admitted sheepishly, but Eternicus only smiled.

"Only one? Love is boundless, know no volumes to hold it. But love is more than just the love between two beings. It is passion, lust, desire. Love can be self-destructive, yet it can give a power beyond all others. I am glad it is you who first awakened. Love has always been the most beautiful side to me and the closest to me." He said softly, and the two dragons rubbed their heads tenderly together.

"But I still don't understand. Am I your daughter? Am I your servant? Am I your lover? Will you... fuck me?" she asked, pronouncing the last of it softly and uncertainly, and Eternicus pushed a small burst of flame from his nostrils, which Hippolyta interpreted as a laugh.

"You are all of it and yes... "I may sleep with you one day and taste of your love. I will be honest with you, Queen Hippolyta. My power will change you. Men, women... it will no longer matter to you. Your lust will grow in proportion to your love for all things. And you will have influence over those around you. You'll be able to control them, **** them to do things they may not want to do... but that was never your path. You've always been able to show those around you that love is boundless without forcing it on them.

"And yet... I **** Superman..." she sighed.

"Superman? That funny little creature from Krypton? I know him!" said Eternicus with amusement.

"Yes... The love he felt for his wife was beautiful. It was so pure, so radiant, so powerful that it attracted me like fire to a moth. But he had betrayed her, and his heart was full of pain for it. I just wanted to help him! Show him that lust and love can exist together" she tried to justify herself and Eternicus looked at her gently.

"Just as it had always been. And you certainly enjoyed sharing your bed with him, didn't you?" laughed the dragon and his laughter sent the waves crashing against the shore.

"He was... better than I had thought! I never wanted to let him go... but I know that he must go... but... I just know that I can't live without him... without the feeling of loving a man... I love my sisters... but... I love one too... a man inside me too! or... two... or three... " she admitted grinning and looking at the Amazons. "They don't understand yet. Do you think I'll be able to guide them? Our condition is unnatural! " she said hopefully and Eternicus nodded at her.

"If there is anyone who can do this, it is you. But there is something else we must discuss. An ancient race has tried to duplicate our power and even though their motives were unclear they have saved the universe from a terrible fate. But they fashioned weapons from your light. These are now on their way here."

"You mean the Atlanteans?"

"No. A people not of this world!" said Eternicus, seeing that Hippolyta did not understand what he meant. A deep, throaty growl escaped the mighty dragon as his eyes lit up. For a split second, his body glowed, and Hippolyta received knowledge that almost burst her head.

Gods

Earth

Universe

All these terms were so wrong. She saw thousands, nay... millions of worlds. She saw a hundred times a hundred times a hundred worlds full of life in all forms. Everywhere there was love and lust. All these races were united in these emotions. In disbelief, she opened her eyes and stared at him.

"My children! They call themselves Star Sapphires! They love as I do!" she smiled. "They don't understand it perfectly, but they love love!"

"They're on their way here now. "They'll come to you first because they're a part of you! But now we will have to separate."

"Why?" she asked confusedly, and Eternicus smiled.

"Because the two of us in one place are influencing your people in a most impressive way." He smiled, and Hippolyta could see many Amazons struggling to suppress their lust and love. She was so proud of her Amazons that in the presence of life itself and love they could still concentrate on their duties. However, she knew that it would not be long before it would come to an island wide orgy. But it was still too early for that.

"Oh! I see! I will take care of my children. Will we see father again?" she asked softly and Eternicus nodded as he went back to the ship and his huge head was almost as big as the ship on which Artemis and Mera were waiting.

The two women trembled with energy as the mighty dragon approached them and spoke.

"Your Highness Mera. I would like to return now."

"Yes... Yes.... Lord Eternicus, of course!" Mera stammered and felt her suit begin to rip. Being so close to his power had a tremendous effect on her body.

What's next?
