Chapter 9 by Progenitor Progenitor

What's next?

And even more luck...

The little cave was cool, cooler at least than the forest. Spiders and crickets, centipedes and pill bugs, all clung to the walls. Water dripped once and spattered off the end of her nose and sprayed in her eyes as she piled up the firewood for her makeshift campfire. Not enough to douse the wood of course, just an annoyance.

Night was advancing as she worked. The creatures of the forest called and cooed outside, insects sang and night birds made all manner of racket in the trees. A cool evening breeze shifted the overhead limbs around and a star peeked through at one point.

That's when Panax noticed the large piece of cloth that was piled up in the back of the cave. It was dirty as hell sure, but it was big enough that she may be able to use it for... Something.

But when will the goblin's luck end?
