Yes, it is

At the local grocery store you get some essentials. Nothing special, you are still a student after all, with a student budget, which shouldn't be streched out just because you got taste for some rare and expensive ingredients. That is also the reason why you cook and not order take outs. It's just cheaper. And beside that, you actually enjoy preparing meals yourself.

Coming back to the dorm, you first enter the big room, which serve as a common area for everyone living in here. You see couple of your neighbours, as well as your girlfriend talking to someone. You have nothing against her talking to other dudes and you are just waving to her with free hand while moving to your room.

When you go inside, you can hear a faint sound of running water. Probably your girlfriend turned on shower for the water to heat up. It does take usually a few minutes before it gets actually any hot. Unpacking groceries takes you a while. You also check your phone - it is charging right next to bed - your mom called. You make a mental note to call her back later, since now it's the time when she starts her work and you don't want to interrupt her. You check news again - it settles your nerves a bit to see that there is nothing new about it.

Taking your eyes off the phone, you see your girlfriend coming out of shower, dressed only in towel. You want to say something, but then it gets you thinking.

"Mia? How... when did you get in there?" You ask, confused.

"I don't know, like fifteen minutes ago?" She responds while plugging in a hair dryer.

"I just saw you in the big room, talking to Dave."

She just shows you off her smile and asks playfully:

"And?"

You can't really figure that out. She can't be suddenly in two places at once. Or - considering her recent picking up of goddess-like abilities - can she?

"Ok, how did you do it?" You ask bluntly.

"Don't you want to figure that out by yourself?" Asks her voice, but not coming from her mouth. Mia - or at the very least her identical copy - comes out of small bathroom area in full make up, dressed in outfit that can be only described as 'slutty'. You love that outfit in the bedroom, it is essentially a red dress that barely goes to cover her legs. Breast area is so weirdly done, it makes you think that whenever she moves, her boobs may hop out of it into full display.

"So there are two of you now...?" You state. Or ask. You don't even know yourself, your confusion levels going through the roof.

"Actually it's three." Says another one coming through main door of your room. So she must be the one you saw earlier. "At least that is my current limit."

"Your current limit? What are you talking about? You mean all of them is you?"

"More like I am all of us." Responds the one with wet hair. "Ok, I see a little explanation is needed."

You nod, while coming to the door and locking it just in case someone wants to barge in. You don't need anyone else seeing three identical copies of your girlfriend standing right here.

"When you left, I started to think. Like, I tried already being lighter and that didn't end up how I wanted. So what would happen if I wanted to be heavier. I wanted to be more of me. Was trying to focus on different areas, like breasts or butt, but that didn't work. Don't look at me like that, I figured those are the safest areas to expand." You actually agree with her. Ass or boobs getting bigger can be easily explained, unlike most of other parts of human body. "Anyways, I stopped and went to take a shower. But just when I was on the way to bathroom, I tripped over your running shoes. By the way you never put them in a locker, how many times do I have to remind..."

"Okay, I know, I'm sorry. Continue, please." You interrupt her. She always reminds you of that, and you always forget about it.

"Alright, so I trip over your shoes and drop on a floor, but I feel like I drop in two different places. And I did. I was here and there. I was looking at myself and myself was looking at me. Like I was seeing from two different places at once me. Not sure how I can explain that. Those are not just copies. They are me. We share the same consiousness. We are me."

"Wait, wait, wait. I think I'm able to understand it." You suddenly start to realize what she means. "So your body split, there were two copies of you, but you both have one awareness? Like, one single mind that can hear, and see for both of you?"

"Yes, exactly." They all smile that you managed to figure it out.

"You don't get overwhelmed with all the senses working from different spots at once?"

"Well, my senses were already different than normal humans due to my previous abilities. But I'll get to the overwhelming part."

She wants to continue, but you stop her. There is one more question you have to ask, or you feel you might go insane.

"Something is still not right. You said you split once. Where did the third one come from?"

"After discovering a new ability I obviously wanted to repeat it. And it came kinda naturally. I can't explain how it actually happens, I just willed it and I got another twin."

"Can you become one again? Recall them to yourself? And what do you mean by limit, since you can just will it, surely you can split into more?" This power barely makes any sense for you now. Or maybe it is because your girlfriend can not explain it properly? It does sound like she doesn't completely understand it either.

"Yes, I can. And when I split at first, I continued it till there were ten of me. But... This ability has a side effect." Says the one that is busy with her hair.

"When I split into that many..." Slutty outfit one picks up. "... It took a lot of me. Like I could barely breath with that many of me. Also I still have only my own mental capabilities. How to explain it... Imagine if you watch something on TV and play a game. Your attention splits. It's not that hard, but requires a bit of getting used to. Now add to it talking to me, people online telling you what to do, while your mom shouts to you from kitchen, and asks what you want for dinner... You need to split your attention in so many places, you can barely make out of what's going on. That was what I tried to do when I split into too many of me. I had to **** myself on focusing to breath and blink because at that point I couldn't do anything automatically, I had to put my brain to every single task. So I willed them to be reabsorbed until there were only three. With that number I can do safely some simple tasks."

"That is why we are not talking all at once." Says the third one. "I tried talking from two bodies at the same time, but my tongue kept getting lost. But talking to Dave outside, taking a shower and changing outfits proved to be easy enough to multi task."

That is another power of your girlfriend you have to somehow take in. A bit different than other ones. You can understand a super hero scenario with super strength, speed, flight, or even some elemental powers. But multiplication? That is the first you ever think of that concept.

"Okay. I think I get it. So which one is real you?"

"We all are. I can reabsorb myself to whatever body I want and I will always be me. My awareness stays mine, no matter what body I choose to be most active, so it doesn't matter which one was original one, right?"

You make a nod, agreeing with her.

"Now... since there are four of us..." Starts the ones that just dried her hair.

"... and I know how you feel about me, me and me..." Says the one next to doors.

"... maybe we can go for, you know... some special awareness training?" Whispers the one in slutty outfit into your ear while unzipping your pants. You didn't even notice when she moved to be so close to you, but you don't care. You just can't help but smile when you think what's about to happen.
