Cat's out of the bag!

"Wait, what?" Cindy asked, her lips forming a wide O shape in shock. Stacey became quiet, fixed with a stupid wide grin on her face as she sipped her drink from a straw, enjoying what she was hearing. As for Viola, her heart skipped a beat. I think I misheard, d-did she just tell them about us?

Poor Robin was none the wiser, maybe he didn't catch on. Lauren just smirked and held her close in that hold, giving her a soft loving squeeze.

"You er, you three are a thing, am I correct?" Cindy blinked, clearing her throat momentarily once the question slipped out of her lips. This was news, this was... "Y-you can do that? No funny business, all three of you or just you two?"

"Uh-"

"I know, you guys are polyamorous!" The brat chuckled with glee, snapping her fingers as she proudly announced that revelation a bit too loud for Viola's comfort, catching their British friend's puzzled look. "It means they are comfortable with more than one partner, which also means..." She hummed to herself, sipping her rum and coke proudly while oogling Robin up and down.

"Not bad, V, not bad. I'm a little jealous, you know sharing is caring right?"

Stunned and locked in her seat, Viola sort of processed what was going on before receiving an affectionate kiss on the cheek by her hugger. "She is so adorable, honestly Robin is more of the sharing type but this little kitty managed to convince me as well. After a fun night that is." She giggled, squeezing Robin's hand in return, smiling at each other. He reached his arm around and hooked both ladies close to him.

"Aren't I lucky?"

Viola felt her pulse return, shock washing off of her as her thoughts began to rush through the front door, crowding her mind with hardcore overload of panic and disbelief as her voice in her head began to rise.

WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!?!?!?!?

"Something wrong, V? When were you going to tell us this, or was tonight the night? You said last night, damn so this is still new!?" Stacey beamed, practically jumping with childish excitement. It had been a long time since she heard such fun news!

"I uh-hehehe! Oh geez..." She blushed heavily, rubbing her arm and feeling so many pancakes flip-flopping in her tummy. Being put on the spot is not my forteit, and this kind of news ahah...

No wait, I already lied once before to Lauren and I regretted it. I can't, damn I can't form any words right now with everyone staring...

Maybe you should take the first step to make a bond.

Mom? Mom, ugh if this becomes serious (and I sorta hope it does, don't judge!) then it is going to be tons more shocking to tell her the news. I can hear it already...

Any men in your life? Any women?

Yea, actually to both yes. I'm starting to get into a relationship with my neighbors, Robin and Lauren. Wow, never thought this would become a chapter in my life. Polyamory... can't say I haven't heard the concept before but to actually be in one, that's something else. So I guess the cat's out of the bag.

May as well embrace it I guess.

But first, a quick sip. Okay, maybe more like a gulp. Nothing wrong with a little liquid courage, heh.

"Honestly, I wasn't sure how to tell you guys or if I should hehehe," Viola shyly began, wiping her mouth. "But to be frank, it feels kind of good and nervous to get that out into the air." She trembled slightly, feeling the warm, welcoming hand rub her arm softly, Lauren's perfume scent filling her senses. "I hope you guys don't find it too weird hehe, but yea... we're a thing."

"A very honest and loving thing." Robin added, raising his glass to her. He could read how it took a lot out of her to admit, and yea perhaps it was a bit too soon to explain, especially when placed on the spot. But her courage only made him admire her more.

"Well, I-er ahem! Sorry, this is-" Cindy started, clearing her throat before sipping her beverage. I wonder if she wasn't taking the news too well, maybe she was confused? But the puzzled look went away after her sip before those lips formed a sincere smile, well that was until the chuckle began. One exchange with Stacey and both girls began to lose it, right in front if us like they just shared a hidden joke between each other.

"Uhh, what?" Viola swallowed, uncertain to this reaction she was receiving.

Stacey was the first to talk. "Truth is, we kind of had a bet going with that."

"And regrettably, I was the fool here." Cindy fished a twenty dollar bill from her purse before passing it to her.

Robin and Lauren shared a look in awe, baffled and clearly amused at this sudden turn. Only the same could not be said for their kitty. "Wow, fuck you guys for that." Viola muttered, shaking her head. The soft grin on her was enough to hint at her relief over this.

Well, at least it is out there now.
