What's next?

Peggy catches the bus

Peggy had always been aware of the largeness of her breasts, ever since she had to wear adult blouses to school because no others could contain her chest. "No... Please stop looking at me!" Peggy pleaded uselessly to the gathering crowd, "Please... Could someone lend me a coat, or something?" The only response she got was laughter and catcalls.

With no better idea, Peggy went across the street to the laundrette, hoping somehow that maybe Lorraine hadn't taken her uniform, or otherwise maybe they could lend her some clothes. She got to the door, releasing the arm covering her breasts to try the handle, but found it locked.

"No!" she wailed, she banged on the glass with her hand, and tried to look inside, "Hello? Anyone there?" She saw no one, and when she took half a step back from the window she saw a sign saying they were closed for lunch.

Peggy turned again to the crowd, which had grown even in those few seconds. She felt like she was living out a nightmare, stripped nude and in the middle of a busy city.

A red double-decker bus turned onto the road, Peggy's admirers stepping out of its way if they had been on the tarmac. As the bus passed her, Peggy jumped forwards and landed on its running board, dropping to her hands and knees to keep her balance as the vehicle kept moving. She could hear the disappointed groans of the people she left behind her.

Peggy looked up, to see a conductor staring down at her disapprovingly.

"Ticket, madam?"
