Does Jess go for Sean's idea?
She asks to wait until they know for sure
Jessica thinks for a moment, then takes Sean's hand, "I really appreciate the thought and it's something we can consider if I do end up pregnant." She took a deep breath, "Let's wait until we know for sure. Okay?"
He nods and smiles at he warmly, reassuring her, "Just know that I am here for you however you want me."
The blonde tears up a bit and nods, wanting to break the tension a bit, "Until then, no more creampies, okay there mister? You better perfect your pullout game. Got it?"
Sean thinks about it further and sees her point of view, agreeing to wait, but is excited in his own way at the prospect of having knocked his new girlfriend up. "Okay. I'll at least work on a rough draft of how the wish would look, just in case, but I have to say sweetie... we would make some pretty beautiful babies."
Jess blushes and kisses him back, "I know Sean, but with the whole genie thing, I'm not sure if I want to doom a daughter to that kind of life, you know?"
That hit him a bit differently than he thought. He went through scenarios in his head where he had a daughter and how he would feel about her being bound to another for the rest of her life... and he didn't like it at all. Not one bit. He nodded and smiled back, now more conflicted than ever about the possibility of pregnancy, more than a normal teenage boy should be anyways.
Life continued on for the rest of the month. The football team ended up going to the state tournament after having Sean there to hype them up and get them pumped for each and every play-off game. However a championship just wasn't in the cards for them that year and they fell just short of winning the championship game by a single field goal.
Jess and the girls threw a consolation party for the team in Jess & Sean's shared backyard. It ended up being a more quiet, laid back event since much of the team ended up being so sore about the loss. Still, Sean, Jess, Tiff, Greg, Chris, Sam, Cassie, and a few others popped in and out of the party throughout the night. Eventually it did wind down to a small bonfire with just Sam, Tiff, Chris, Sean, and Jessica.
Tiff and Chris had been pretty quiet for awhile and it seemed like the dark haired girl had been silently crying for a bit while Chris had been brooding and angrily nursing a beer. Sean looked to Jess and raised an eyebrow, motioning over to Tiff, whispering to her as he leaned from his chair over to hers, "What's up with that?"
Jess frowned and shrugged. The blonde cheerleader wasn't sure if it was her place, but she didn't like to see her friend crying, "Hey Tiff...is everything OK?"
Chris spoke up as Tiff opened her mouth to answer, "She's fine Jess, mind your own damn business."
Sean had learned a few weeks ago that Jess could handle herself. When the long necked bottle of Chris' beer flew from his hand and landed in the fire with a sizzle, Chris stood up. Towering over Jess he turned around and walked away.
Sean found himself gripping the arms of his chair, ready to get up if things had turned physical. As he walked away Chris shouted, "C'mon Tiff, we're leaving."
The raven haired Tiffany choked out a laugh and shook her head, "I'm not leaving yet. I'm staying here with my friends."
Chris stalked back over and got in Tiff's face, not touching her once, "Get your ass up and let's go. NOW!"
Sean stood up and cleared his throat, "Hey Chris, I am pretty sure Tiff has made her point clear on where she'd like to be."
Standing a good six inches taller than Chris, Sean didn't need to cross his arms or even stand up straight to try and intimidate the angry young man. Still, Chris didn't seem to care, "Listen, what happens with me and my girlfriend is none of your..."
"Ex-girlfriend..." Tiffany was standing up now with Samantha and Jess behind her. "I'm done covering shit up for you, and I'm done with all of this controlling, macho bullshit."
Chris was angry. Angrier than anytime Sean had ever seen him before. But he still just threw his hands up and walked away.
With the squeal of tires, and the loud roar of his engine, Chris was gone. Tiff explained to Sam, Jess, and Sean, what the latter two had already known: Chris and Greg's doctor's notes had been forged. Coach found out, and Chris had lost a very lucrative scholarship to college because of it.
With the drama over and the three young women and Sean done cleaning up the backyard, Sean invites them all over to his place since his parents were gone for the weekend. Once settled in his basement bedroom, which was basically a studio apartment without the kitchen, Sam speaks up. The sexy redhead has a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Sam proposes a game
