“Because... because I can help you...”

“Because...” you pause looking for a way out, “because I can help you...”

Deb stops for a second.

“Survival instinct I guess... your a resourceful one, my dear Samantha,” she grins, “but let’s take you on your offer. If you help us we will make this as pleasant as we can manage for you. Agreed guys?”

“I love the way you think Deb,” Caroline says.

“I don’t give a rat’s ass,” the man says.

They let you go. You do not really understand everything that just happened but one thing is sure, you have escaped certain ****, for now.

“Now let’s catch up with the bitch before she slips through our fingers one more time,” the man says grabbing you by the waist and dropping you on his shoulder as if you were a meagre bag of potatoes.

The world around you blurs as the three creatures start to run. In a few seconds you are out of the small settlement. The creatures stop.

“Shit! I lost her scent...” Deb.

“No, U have it, she went that way,” Caroline.

The world blurs again until they stop again on top of a cliff. In the distance you can hear the waves crashing against the rocks.

“Down there, the cave.” The man says.

Blur again, you are now at sea level. He drops you on the rocks. The fall hurts. Your shoulder is bruised, a thick warm liquid starts pouring from your forehead and your broken arm is killing you.

Standing behind the man Caroline and Deb start to tense. For the first time, you notice the large fangs in their mouths. You shiver.

“She is inside, you will go in and make her come out. If try to escape or play any trick on us we’ll go in and, I promise you little whore, when we catch up it will not be pleasant... at all.”

The threat seems to be backed up by decades of **** and mayhem and somehow you know it is very close to the truth.

Somehow you stand. Behind the man, the two creatures that were your closest friends eye you with horrendous hunger. You turn around and stumble into the dark cave.

Soon the light of the stars is gone and you cannot see anything anymore.

“Nicole?”

No answer.

“Nicole, it’s Sam... I saw you walk into this cave... I’m hurt...”

A movement behind you makes you jump. A hand wraps around your mouth.
