Without another word you mother leads you to the cellar and wordlessly guides you down. She promptly locks the door traping you. Stunded and nearly in tears your break down into crying until you hear voices upstairs.

"Jimmy lied...john...protect" you hear you mother's voice but only every other word your worry leaves it sounds as though she's intends to help. The tears continue to flow only now they are tears of joy.

Time passes you drift off to sleep. When you wake up your still in the basement but there is a plate of sandwiches. You eat in silence. More time passes and yes you return to normal.
