Pregnancy Pact

Lois Lane slowly blinked. She normally relegated this kind of stupidity to Hallmark made-for-TV movies and reality television shows about teenagers whose lack of prospects and burgeoning bellies belied a future in the porn industry. Yet these were all four women in college, working toward degrees.

"The things is, none of us really wanted a BS or an MA," Tonya Wong said. "What we really wanted was a MRS degree."

The four woman all nodded sagely, as if this was the wisest thing in the world.

"We were hoping to meet some nice guys, get knocked up, and then we'd be able to get married, quit college, and be homemakers," Jenny Dunlap said. Lois let her jaw drop. All efforts at being non-judgmental had permanently failed. She was aghast.

"...but we wanted to make sure!" Mara cut in. "So Jenny, she's always been kind of a witch? She dug up this spell that was supposed to summon a demon to help knock us up. We go down to the basement, and we perform this ritual..."

"...it was supposed to be five people, but we only had four, and at first we thought it didn't work," Jenny said.
