Beth's selections

Despite the amount of space at the lodge, the cougars had agreed that some of their 'students' could share a room.

Syd had just started to unpack his things, when he heard footsteps approaching. Glancing up, he saw a dark-haired girl dressed in jean shorts, platform heels, and a Ramones t-shirt stroll in, throwing her bag on the king-sized bed that they'd have to share.

"What the hell do you want?" Syd exclaimed. Granted, she was hot, but Beth hadn't said anything about roommates.

"This is my room, babe." Maggie glanced over the skinny Asian in the black trenchcoat, dark green combat trousers, and long-sleeved shirt. For some reason, he was wearing a black glove on his left hand. "Don't mean to be rude, honey, but are you a guy or a girl? And what's with the glove?"

"I'm a guy, and don't think you're rude; I get that a lot. Either that, or they call me a 'Goth fag.'" Glancing at a mirror on the wall, Syd ran a hand through his black locks. He had to admit, he was good looking, in a semi-androgynous way. "This is why I have the Skywalker look."

Pulling the glove off, Maggie gasped out loud. Severe burns had damaged Syd's left hand at some point in the past; no type of surgery could've fixed them.

"Camping trip when I was ten. Dad accidentally ran into me; I ran into the fire. Just got away with this, luckily. By the way, you're Maggie, right?"

"You know it. Listen, we're both reasonable; I think we can share a bed without anything freaky happenin'. I got three younger siblings; I'm used to sleepin' three to a bed."

"Fair enough." Before the duo could say anything else, a knock came at the door. Beth strolled in to speak with the younger folks.
