Chapter 131 by brevdravis brevdravis

Could I use a Wing-gal?

She had my attention.

"Wing-gal?" I laughed.

"Yeah, you know, like a wing-man, except she has nice tits. Or were you just wonderin' about my St. Photius medallion?" Her smile became broad, as she identified the little round medallion that had hung nicely between her tits, right below the little gold cross on a chain.

"I'd like to think I wasn't staring." I commented, trying to keep my eyes on the road. "This is your turn, right?"

"And I notice you haven't taken your foot off de gas." Nikki grinned, "So... how far we going?"

"What about your husband?" I pointed out.

"I texted. He didn't text back. I called him, and he didn't even leave a voice mail. Clearly he's not worried about me, so... Fuck it." Nikki placed her arm on the open window, taking in the soft breeze as we drove past the sheer drop off which marked the path upwards towards some large buildings overlooking the highway.

"So, what is he up to then? Aren't you worried about..." I began.

"George? Fuck no... Ok, you want me to talk about 'im, you have to let me off dat no complaining about men rule."

"OOooh, tough one. Because I usually only put up with that type of thing from women I'm trying to get into bed." I contemplated it for a moment. "So... you know, you want to me to actually listen, that's where my brain's gonna go."

"Damn... too late to ask you to turn around now? Because I had a whole bitch fest ready to go, and If you don't wanna hear it, I have about ten cousins up there who are..."

"Not at all... but I will think less of you." I smirked. "Not that it matters of course, since we'll never see each other again anyway and the odds of my actually getting you into a bed are pretty low."

"There is dat..." Nikki ran her fingers through her hair, pushing some of the dark curls back. "Soooo... Ok, George... dat's my husband, well, he's probably schmoozing my Uncle Gus for a loan. And Uncle Gus hates cell phones, and won't even have em in his presence. So... of course, since he's de one paying for de weddin' he's pullin' his piss over everything rules. "

"Wedding? How long have you been married?"

"Oh, it's not MY wedding, I'm a bridesmaid. Again. I thought once I was off the market dey'd leave me alone, but Nope, yet another fukkin dress I have buy."

"I notice you're not wearing it."

"Hell no. Makes my ass look fat. So... yeah, George decides dat he's gonna be boy wonder and really get in with Uncle Gus to go along with dis new business idea dat he had, and before you even talk business with Gus, you gotta schmooze. A lot. "

"So... he's schmoozing with his cell phone off. I'm not gonna make you late for the..."

"No, it's tomorrow. My cousin Alex and his blushing little just outta high school crush. Swear da girl puts on a puffy jacket and suddenly tinks she's from downtown."

"So what's the business?" I asked casually, noting that Nikki had moved her purse away from her feet and was now stretching out her legs. It was nice to have someone along, I had to admit. I realized that I hadn't worried about Imogene for at least the last fifteen minutes.

"I instant deleted dat." NIkki commented.

"You what?"

"Instant delete. Forgot all about it. He's trying to get money by pretending we don't need it. Dat whole, ya gotta spend money to make it. Any way he thinks that as long as we look successful, we'll be successful."

"So... the Ferrari?"

"Rental. Had it waiting at the airport for us when we got here. And the thing's a gas guzzler. Had no idea how fast dat tank was gonna empty."

"AH..." I replied. The van crested a small hill, and the conversation became quiet for a moment. I pulled the Van to a halt at the first stop light, and looked about at the clearing fog. A few rays of sunshine filtered easily, and I could see the motion of a few low hanging clouds above the dwindling mist.

"Hey, Looks like dere is some nice views here after all. Thought I wasn't gonna see any of dat beautiful Cali weather while I was out here." Nikki ran her hand through a beam of light, and almost seemed to purr at the sensation.
