A new home

You guide the girls through the forest, relating a very resumed and simplified version of how you managed to turn yourself into a wolf's den alpha. You have mixed reactions from your four listeners: Two amused grins, one cocked eyebrow, and a fearful, shocked expression. The last one belonging to your sister, who started shivering just at the mention of the word 'wolf'. "...D-do you really trust her?! She is a wolf! You know how wolves are..." She shakily says, her gaze fixed on the ground.

"I do." You determinedly answer, nobody can fake so much loyalty. Kara utterly worshipped you as her king.

"I-i... alright..." Mathilda takes a deep breath. "I really hope you are right."

Entering the heart of the woods, it isn't long until you find the cave you were looking for. You confidently motion your companions to follow you inside as you venture into the dark tunnel. You move forwards, your steps echoing all over the pitch-black, narrow passage. "'Ey! Who pinched me arse!?" You hear Rhea's voice loudly say behind you.

"Oops, I thought you were Theo! Sorry!" Lola apologizes between giggles.

"...Keep quiet, you two. If the wolves aren't as friendly as Theo thinks, we don't want them to know we are here..." Agis scolds the two horned girls, Mathilda just keeps squirming in fear at the thought of being in a cave full of those evil creatures.

After a few more seconds of strolling, you finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. You reach the former throne room, dimly lit with old, oil lamps. The creepy, bone throne that sent shivers down your spine is now long gone, replaced with some kind of small-sized, wooden carved statue; two wolves dragging it around by pulling ropes attached to it with their mouths. "More to the left!" Your puppy commands to her vassals "There! Straighten it a bit more, everything has to be perfect when he comes back!" She yells, sounding like a demanding foreman. As you take a few steps closer, you can notice the statue is actually meant to look like you...

"Kara?" You call for her, the wolf-girl jumps in surprise and instantly turns on her heels to look at you.

"Welcome, my king! I wasn't expecting you so soon!" She yaps, quickly groveling at your feet, so down that her forehead is touching the ground.

"...You didn't mention how cute she was! I love puppies~!" Lola joyfully exclaims, making one of Kara's fluffy ears twitch.

She stops groveling, but still kneels on the floor, a wide smile on her pretty face as she notices the rest of the girls behind you. "Oh! You brought your harem! I'm honored."

"...Stand up, pup." You order, your harem silently looking at the situation in the background, Mathilda fearfully hiding behind Rhea's towering size.

Kara jumps on her feet, a goofy, happy look on her face. You can see she is actually wearing clothes today, some kind of light-brown, fur dress wrapped around her chocolate, curvy torso. She is still barefoot, her little toes excitedly tapping at the floor as she looks at your face.

"I'll introduce you all properly later, but we don't have time now. I need you to gather up all the wolves you have on here, we have some orcs to fight." You commandingly say, Kara's smile drops and her face shows a nervous expression,

"Uhm... Yeah, a-alright." She stammers before loudly whistling, the two wolves who were moving the statue around walk close and gaze up at you... they looked... kind of goofy? One was chubbier than the average wolf is supposed to be, and the other one looked sickly skinny.

You wait for a few more moments for the other wolves to appear, but none comes. "...Kara, where are the others?" You confusedly ask, she rubs the back of her neck and grins nervously.

"Yeeeahhh... about that... They left with Kakan." ...Great, simply great. You take a deep, deeeep breath and rub your temples. Amazing...

"Ollie and Rocko remained loyal to me, y-you should give them a chance, my king! They might surprise you!" ...You look down at the two wolves, their tails wagging quickly and their tongues hanging comically out in the air, these two couldn't even harm a cat if their lives depended on it... and talking about cats... Maggie! You have to go get her!

"Stay here! I need to-" You say, quickly starting to move towards the exit tunnel; but as soon as you take a pair of steps, a brownish curtain of smoke suddenly appear at your side, accompanied by a strange sound. "Huh?!" You suprisedly gasp, watching the smoke quickly dissipate, the cat-girl sorceress appearing behind it. Pure shock on her adorable face and an empty glass bottle firmly clutched on her little hand... The teleportation potion... her gaze moves up towards your face, you can see her eyes teary and her lower lip quivering.

"They... they..." She sobs, before quickly running towards you and strongly hugging your torso, burying her face on your chest and crying her eyes out. "T-they burnt my cabin!"

"...It's ok, you are safe now, shhh, shhh." You gently soothe her, caressing her back as she loudly weeps. "You are safe..."

Looking around the cavey room, you can see that the girls seem as gloomy and frustrated as you are. "...So, what the feck are we doin' now?" Rhea asks with a frown.
