Walker's plan

"Okay... what do you want me to do? Kidnap your son?" you ask. You're happy to do this favor for agent Walker if this means she'll be your ally, but you're not exactly sure how she expects you to help her win custody of her son.

"No, of course not. Then Jack would just report him missing and the first suspect they look at will be me. No, I need the court to grant me full custody of my son," agent Walker says.

"You want me to influence the judge?"

"Well, in a way. Don't worry, I have a plan," agent Walker says, holding out a folder in her hand, similar to the 1 on the mob boss. You tell her to leave it on the floor and take a few steps away with her back still to you and you go to pick it up. This 1 is about her husband. Late 40s, executive at a hedge fund, address and so forth. It's a short file with only 3 pages, although the last page catches your attention because there's a picture of a beautiful woman. There's no information about her except for a phone number listed below the picture and a name: Putri Cinta.

"Who is this?" you ask, holding up the picture to agent Walker.

"Her name is Putri Cinta. Indonesia immigrant. She's 1 of many escorts my husband likes to see," agent Walker responds icily.

"Okay... still not getting where we're going with this. ****?" you say.

"No. The plan is, well, if Jack is arrested for solicitation, then the court will find him unsuitable to have custody of our son. I have a friend in vice at the NYPD, but escorts like her are careful and it's difficult to make a bust that sticks. They make arrangements to meet at a hotel, the customer gets there early and leaves the cash in the bathroom or on the nightstand, and the escort "finds" the cash and pockets it. Money doesn't actually exchange hands nor do they even speak about payment, so it's hard to make an arrest," agent Walker explains.

"So what do you want me to do?"

"Make contact with the escort, turn her using whatever methods you can, so that my friend can bust Jack in the act of solicitation."

"Like a sting?" you ask.

"Precisely. Do this, and I'll work with you from here on out," agent Walker says.

You think about it for a moment, considering how you would go about with the task. You don't need to tell agent Walker how you'll do it, and she doesn't seem interested in knowing anyway, so you just utter a short "okay".

"Text me the day, time and location when you have it set up," agent Walker says. Then, she leaves without looking back.
