Stopping by the Tribune

You wake up the next morning after a good night's sleep. When Pia stormed out of the motel room last night, you had decided to call it a night and teleport back to the estate and gone straight to bed. Still groggy, you grab your phone to check the news. The first thing you look for is the fundraiser from last night, and indeed, you find a picture of yourself mingling with the guests. Abby would be pleased, you think, and you send her the link. You move on to look at world affairs, sports, and then local news.

1 report in the local news catches your eye. It's a short report, but it gives you all you need to know. A police officer was arrested last night after she shot a motel manager in the leg after a dispute. There are no details about the dispute, although you know what it is. Chuckling to yourself for having caused the mischief, you realize you miss the news and you decide to stop by the Tribune today.

It's been a while since you've gone in and as you get dressed, you wonder what you might possibly want to work on at the Tribune.

You get to the Tribune's lobby easily with a use of the combination of your invisibility and teleportation rings, and you ride the elevator up with a bunch of random people. When you get to the Tribune's floor, you get out and start walking to your office, looking around the newsroom. Everybody is busy working and nobody seems to notice you. Even the people who see you don't show any recognition and for a moment, you have to check that you are indeed visible. When you get to your office, you notice the door is open and 3 young reporters are crammed into the space and the furniture has been reorganized. They're all preoccupied with typing away on their computers and don't pay you any attention. Puzzled, you make your way over to Laura, the editor's office.
