What Happens As Lois Waits?

Something Grabs The Reporter's Foot

Lois was waiting for the cultists, trying to ignore the feeling of the walls closing in tighter around her, the stone cock embedded in her cunt...and then she heard a sound.

From behind her.

The reporter froze, ceased breathing. All her senses attuned to the darkness of the air duct. What could be back there? Mice, rats? Nothing bigger, certainly; Lois could scarcely fit in the shaft herself. Maybe a raccoon? But what would it eat down here?

I don't want to think about that, Lois knew. There were tales about the things under Metropolis. Regular cities had their albino alligators, man-eating rats, carnivorous hobos...but Metropolis had rumors of weirder things. Human mutates and freaks. Hidden cities. Demons. Buried alien gods. Most of which was just fodder for the back pages of the Daily Planet, but every now and again people disappeared down in the depths of the city and were never seen or heard from again.

Long moments passed as Lois waited, straining her ears for anything behind her. A whisper of breathing in the darkness, the scrape of claws on metal...but there was nothing, not even a vibration. Her belly suddenly felt terribly tight in the confined space. Lois closed her eyes and counted slowly to ten, focused on steadying her breathing. It was just a momentary panic. It would pass.

Something grabbed the reporter's ankle. And pulled.

Lois Lane's eyes flew up, and she barely stifled her scream as she suddenly pressed herself against the sides of the air duct, kicking at whatever was holding her. Inch by inch as the stale air in the duct grew warmer and Lois Lane's struggles more frantic, she was pulled deeper into darkness...but that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was that the thing holding the reporter's ankle was...
