"But you can't go on like this. What would people say?"

"What do you think they say now?" Matt demanded. "I'll tell you. They think we're slum-dogs somehow crashing their precious millionaire-only neighborhood. They think they're wasting their tax dollars educating unworthy peasants. If they'd seen you last night, they would have nodded to themselves and say that poor people are poor because they're drunks and unreliable. And you know what, at least half of them would look at me and say, 'good man. I'd like a piece of that ass, too.'"

"The male half. Because from what I've seen of the Hill, every single male here is stepping out on their wives and perving on kids. So, like I said, give us a break."

Karen turned to Matt and kissed him on the lips. "I'm not sure that was the most brilliant decision you ever made."
