Up into the Attic

With much ability to fight the urge to go into the bathroom, he reached up unlatching the attic door and the door sprung down. Extending out the ladder, he ascended up quickly looking for the book. Walking over to where he dropped it before his dashing exit, he found the spot empty. His heart raced at the misplaced book, looking in the secret compartment he had found it before it wasn't there. He scoured the attic looking for the book, moving boxes about hoping to find the book. Constantly he uttered the same question; "Where is that damn book?" but no matter how many boxes he moved he couldn't find it.

"Little demon, where are you? Where did you put that book?" he hissed out in hopes for answer. Instead a familiar voice called out from the attic entrance.
