When Mutoh tries to ransom Link back to the Gerudo, they ambush him and 'save' Link.

Link did everything he could to try and explain that Mutoh had this all wrong, that he wasn't really a Gerudo, that he was actually the very person originally asked to save his carpenters. But the gag muffled all of his screams and pleas into nothing, and soon he couldn't even see, as Mutoh used another piece of cloth to blind Link by covering his eyes. From there, Link had no clue what was going on for a while. Bound, blinded, and gagged, he was only left angry at himself for not thinking of taking the mask off, wearing it only when needed.

Something finally started happening when Link suddenly felt himself being dragged somewhere, then Mutoh's voice yelling, "I've got one of yours, you sand rats! Give me back my men, or your woman gets it!" Link didn't know whether he should feel offended at the term he'd used, or flattered that he was apparently worth four men.

At first, Mutoh didn't get a reply, and let out a gruff scoff of annoyance. Link felt himself being dragged back to where they'd come from, when suddenly the air filled with the sound of horses being ridden through the desert sand. With them, the sounds of many women, anger filling their voices. Mutoh must have tried to put up a fight, but it was futile. One out of shape carpenter was no match against a dozen Gerudo warriors.

Soon, Link was being untied and ungagged, and the first thing he saw were the relieved faces of all twelve Gerudo women who'd come to save him. His first thought was to be happy they'd come to save him. They were all wearing purple accept one, the lead, who was also wearing green. "Sister, I'm glad we could free you." Then, she handed Link a rope, one connected to the bindings of Mutoh, who had been tied up in the same way Link had before. It made Link savagely happy to see him in such a predicament, despite the fact he'd come out here on that man's behalf in the first place. Then, Link was also handed a set of keys. "We'll leave imprisoning this man to you, sister. It is your right, as he was your captor." Then they dispersed, leaving Link with the tied-up Mutoh.
