Party collaboration.

Their party, even with just the three of them, are efficient and formal. It's impressive. One of the knights spreads a map down onto the table, and the rest of you sit around and watch. Lady Tesgella slides an armoured finger down the paper, and to a destination that doesn't seem all that far away, which is a relief. Though, on the other hand, they might feed you on the journey anyway.

She introduces herself, and so do you, and your party. You learn that her two men are brothers as well. One is called Bill, and the other Phil.

"Deep in this forest," she begins. "Somebody's spell cracked open a cave that has never been explored. Two scouts have been sent inside, and neither have returned. We can assume it will be rather dangerous within, but I will lead the charge, and if it becomes too much, we will retreat. Do you understand?"

But what's considered too much for a person like her? "How long ago did it open?" you ask.

"A good question. Only five days ago, and the scouts should have returned yesterday. If we act quickly, we might be able to rescue them. It is not impossible, as overly optimistic as it may sound."

"You're pretty strong then, huh?"

"You are not from around here, are you, Mr. Warren?"

Is this last name formality thing just what elves do?

"I'm not, no."

"If you are worried, please just stand close to me," she says with a warm smile that causes you to become unable to properly reply, so you nod.

Phil speaks. "It will take approximately one day to arrive, so we will be bringing camping supplies to set up outside of the cave. Come morning, after we're fully rested, we delve inside. If things go well, we should be back in town by tomorrow night, or the next morning."

This is it. No low-level animal-hunting kill-quest. I'm going on a multiple day trip with a real adventuring party to what's basically a dungeon. There could be treasure there... Maybe a powerful magic sword! I'd be a fool to say no. Maybe I can even join her party after.

"I say we have no time to waste, Lady Tesgella." You stand up from your seat. "My party is yours. Just tell us what to do."
