Follow the cop

You're just about to get back into the minivan to see what happens with Elsa and the mini golf course manager for the rest of the ride, but you're still puzzled by Hernandez's behavior. He didn't have to abruptly stop fucking Elsa and if you had to guess, he probably could have finished his business in a couple of minutes and still met up with his fellow police officer without her noticing the delay.

It's probably nothing at all, but you know you'll be thinking about it for a while if you don't find out, so you decide to teleport into the back of Hernandez's police car instead and you sit there invisible and quiet while he drives.

The burger joint he's meeting his colleague at is just a few minutes away and you see another police car in the parking lot. There's only 1 other car. The burger joint is a stand alone building and it looks pretty quiet. In fact, you're surprised that it's even open at this hour.

Hernandez seems cheery as he fixes his hair in the rear view mirror before getting out of the car. You get out too using the power of your teleportation ring and follow him. Inside the burger joint, there are no other customers except a woman in a police uniform and she's still at a table in the middle of the establishment. She looks up from a menu when Hernandez enters and you instantly understand why Hernandez ditched Elsa.

"Holy shit," you mutter to yourself quietly, following right behind Hernandez. His police buddy is a gorgeous hispanic woman with perfect bronze skin and her smile is enchanting. She's so beautiful that you can't believe she's a police officer. Even with the uniform on, you can tell she's in great shape.

"Jorge!" the female officer greets Hernandez with a hug. The name tag on her uniform says Miller.

"How was your shift, Pia?" Hernandez asks as they sit down and start chatting. You sit down at a empty table next to them and listen as they make small talk, order food and eat together.

They seem pretty friendly but it's hard for you to tell if they're dating or just friends. However, the way Hernandez is looking at Pia, you can tell that he likes her and wants to sleep with her if he hasn't already. Maybe they hook up on the job because of how boring their assignments are. From what you can gather from their conversation, it seems like they both joined the police **** at the same time.
