Chapter 45 by robyna robyna

Now school?

Yes, more pushups and Ophelia

Matt made it to the bus stop with ten minutes to spare which he spent doing pushups.

As always, Amy arrived shortly after he did, stuttering with nervousness and filled with questions about the homework they'd completed the previous evening.

"My mom," she said, "is going to drive Karen and me to the dance. Do you want to ride with us?"

Was she asking him to the dance? Or was she just being so polite? Sometimes Matt wished people would just say what they wanted rather than drop **** hints that could be read in fifty ways. Then again, he realized he did the same thing. If he just walked up to girls and asked them to unbutton their shirts so he could fuck their tits, he didn't think that would go over well. Better to hint even if it meant he never knew what girls were trying to tell him.

"I guess that's the silver lining. You can always come over to our place, you know."

Right about then, Ophelia and the bus pulled up and the two climbed aboard.

"Hey Ophelia," Matt said. "Beautiful as always."

"Hey Matt. Still haven't learned to hear the word 'no'?"

"Not yet. I hear there's a good movie playing. If you're interested, we could go see it together."

"Would your mommy drive us? That's so close to my romantic ideal. Not. Somehow I don't see that happening."

Yeah, that was a big problem--both for dating Ophelia and for dating any other girl. The guy was supposed to pick up the girl which was fine in L.A. where you could grab a bus or metrorail. Here on the Hill, there just weren't any busses and even if there were, no rich Hill-girl would accept a date that meant getting on one. In their mind, busses were only for maids and gardeners.

"We could take an Uber or something."

She laughed. "Sit down and go flirt with one of the High School girls. I'm just not in the same league, Matt."

Maybe. But he wasn't giving up yet.

Who does he sit with
