She makes a run for it!

Maddie stomped on Mari’s foot hard enough to hurt, even through the boot. It was all she needed to elbow her in the stomach and break her grip. Then, she took off, screaming for help. Mari followed as quickly as she could. Blair, still holding her crotch, ordered, “Stop filming and catch her!”

The crowd moved aside when they saw the heavy-set girl running down the hall, with two other cosplayers in pursuit. She didn’t get very far, though, before she tripped, and fell on her face. Mari slowed down. She was almost hoping NOT to catch her—Blair was being so cruel today—but she’d have ****.

But before she could seize Maddie, something else caught her attention. “There they are, that’s them!” said a familiar voice. Mari took her eyes off of Maddie for a moment to find the source. It was Emilia, and Daphne, with a security guard in tow! They’d been caught.

Mari started to run, looking back behind her at the group that was gaining on her. She was so distracted that she tripped over Maddie who was on her hands and knees in the process of getting up. That’s when she felt a strong hand grab her arm. She looked up and saw a muscular woman in a very fashionable dress. She recognized her. “Are you OK?” said the woman.

Marisa nodded, and was about to go her own way, when Maddie objected. “Please, she’s after me. Stop her….my god, you’re…Gia Corelli, actress, fitness model, and MMA fighter.”

Gia didn’t loosen her grip on Mari as she helped Maddie to her feet. “In the flesh. I was just coming from my signings when I saw you two on the floor. I was wondering if you need help.”

“No, we’re fff-fine!” Marisa said. “Well, I do. There were these three cosplayers. They asked if I could do an interview. Then, they started mocking me and did THIS.” She pointed to the cream on her face, and gestured to her breast as she tried to tuck it back into her costume.

Mari smiled ingratiatingly, but Gia wasn’t buying it. “Intolerant cosplayers, hmmm? They’re the worst. Reminds me of the girls who used to tease me when I was young. They don’t tease me anymore. And I have a feeling these three are going to stop teasing you. Where are the other two?”
