Aeriella was ranked only slightly higher, so another spike in the bidding came soon. At first Serenity did not participate in the auction, but even without her it reached fifty gold coins quickly. The Queen’s joining did not discourage the other bidders, at that financial level there were only the extremely wealthy and decisive people. One of them, someone who preferred to remain anonymous, competed with Serenity for a long time pushing up the price significantly, but ultimately gave up at eighty-two gold coins; Ephra’s record did not stand for too long.
