You are jostled from your sleep by insistent knocking at the door. Throwing on a robe, you open the door to see one of the restaurant staff standing next to your order. You fish out a generous tip and tell them that for your next meal, that they are to knock once and then just leave it. They take the tip gratefully and tell you that they'll see to it that you're not disturbed any more.

Wheeling in your cart of food, you place one of the plates on the floor and Cerebos devours it heartily, while you show some restraint. The smell of food and hot coffee stir Stephanie awake. Yawning and stretching loudly, she crawls up behind you and plants a big kiss on your cheek. "Morning honey. Is it morning? Doesn't matter." She purrs, still half asleep. "Whenever it is, it's always going to alright if you're with me." She kisses you again and reaches out for her cup but freezes and looks to you, a pleading look on her face. You nod, giving her permission to help herself.

The three of you eat in relative silence until everything is gone. She doesn't question when you keep putting down plates of food on the floor, trusting that you know what you're doing. After you've sent out the food cart, you lounge on the bed in each other's arms, clicking through television channels. "...while the fire had destroyed most of the police station's servers and criminal database, no officers or civilians were injured," a newsreader says, "However, the police are on the look out for a man and young woman that they believe may have escaped during the fire. Unfortunately, no description of these individuals are available at this time, so they urge the general public to not panic and that they will find these suspects soon."

Stephanie swallows loudly and grips onto you tightly. Smiling softly, you rub her shoulder and tell her that the two of you will be fine. Her neckline glows slightly and her eyes flutter briefly. Her grip relaxes and she rests her head on you, her faith in you absolute. But you have your own doubts as well. You look to Cerebos, and he's just scratching his ear with his foot. Looks like you're just going to have to trust him.
