They Did It. Now What?
Blaze Comes Looking For Ella
The smell heralded her arrival. A locker-room reek, like used panties and sulfur. She stepped out of the shadowed corner of the room, pure white eyes without sclera or iris scanning the room. Her skin was red as blood on fresh parchment, her skull high and fragile as the bust of Nefertiti. Dark horns jutted from her brow, high and regal, and the wild dark hair spilled down to the middle of her back.
Like a panther she stalked into the chamber, pretty mouth twisted in a snarl, a tight orange tunic barely covering her breasts and crotch, held together at the waist by a belt of metal plates.
"Where is she?" The demon growled. "Where is she hiding?"
Lois stared down at her swollen belly. Within, the fetus that was now both mother and daughter kicked.
"Somewhere you can't reach," the reporter said as she rose to a sitting position. She grimaced, unused to her sudden pregnancy.
The demon paused and took in the naked woman with the gravid belly. The eyes widened as she took in the reporter's meaning.
"Your mother's soul was bound to me by contract," Blaze announced. "And I will claim it."
"I don't think you can," Lois shot back. "That's why mom did this, isn't it? She's not Ella Lane anymore. She's my daughter."
"It is true I have no claim on the unborn," the demon growled. One hand clawed at her throat, and the scarlet succubus ripped the garment she was wearing from her body, standing in front of the pregnant reporter nude. "But if I cannot claim her soul, I will at least claim her daughter's body in partial repayment!"
