Chapter 23 by reaper13

What do you tell Luke?

You can’t

You look at the stranger and say, “I’m sorry, master jedi. But I can’t.”
“Why not?” Luke asks.
“There is a girl here.” You say. “She is pregnant with my child. I simply can’t abandon them.”
“The new jedi order permits for marriages.” Luke says. “If you like you can bring her with you. Start a new life on Yavin 4.”
That actually sounds very interesting. However, Jill is not the only woman here you care about. There is also Saani. While Luke and his jedi might allow you to bring one woman, you doubt they’d allow you to bring along a harem.
“I’m sorry, but I prefer to stay with my family on Corellia.” You say.
“I sense there is more to it.” Master Luke says. “But if that is your final decision, I shall leave it at that.”
Luke then pulls his hood over his head and says, “In case you change your mind, you can always travel to the jedi academy on Yavin 4 and apply for jedi training.”
“Thanks for the offer.”
After that, Luke walks away and disappears into the crowd.
A shame, really. You wouldn’t mind improving your … **** skills did he call them? If you did, maybe your mind trick would become powerful enough to work on someone like Leia. At any rate, your life is here on Corellia. Might as well return to Jill.

When you get back to your girlfriend, you get another surprise. Apparently Saani has decided to come to the festival as well. She must have come across Jill by accident and decided to sit at her table for a chat. Both women were talking and smiling at each other. You expect Saani to not have told Jill about you cheating on her, but she still could.
“Sorry for the wait.” You say as you push the plate of pastries underneath Jill’s nose.
“Oh, finally.” Jill says and immediately grabs a pastry from the plate to shove it in her mouth.
“Fancy seeing you here Saani.” You say.
“Yeah, I figured I’d come out here and have some fun.” Saani says while she eyes your plate of pastries. “Didn’t expect to see your girl here but there she was all alone. Figured I’d keep her some company.”
You notice Saani staring at Jill eating her pastry and you ask your secretary, “Want some too?”
Immediately after suggesting Saani can have some of the pastries, Jill grabs the plate and pulls it closer to her.
Saani starts laughing and says, “Don’t you know, Max? You should never take away food from a pregnant woman. Don’t worry, I’ll go get my own.”
After that Saani gets up and heads off to get her own pastries.

When Saani is out of earshot you use you mind trick on Jill and say, “You are fine sharing me with Saani.”
Jill pauses eating and repeats, “I am fine sharing you with Saani.”
Wonderful. Now you no longer need to worry about Saani spilling the beans, even if it is accidental.

A few minutes later Saani returns to your table, with some pastries of her own, and the three of you continue conversing.
A few hours later you, Jill and Saani are leaving the festival grounds together. But just as Saani is about to part ways and head to her place, you ponder if maybe you should invite her over. It’s not too far after all.

Invite Saani over or have some alone time with Jill?
