A Bloody Scene
The Apartment had been laid to waste, everything and I mean everything, ruined, save for Belle, who slumbered rather peacefully on the couch, peacefully You hoped. Stepping over some of the wrecked furniture, you crouched in front of her, gently pushing one of the dark brown hairs from her face.
Slowly, her left eye opened slightly, staring absently before closing once more. Beyond feeling bad for Belle... You were angry, so unimaginably angry, it had happened again, just as before (Arguably even more) powerless against her "Nothing has changed." You muttered from clenched teeth.
So much had happened since You had fed on Belle, Her Fiance was gonna be mad, You needed to Hunt to survive, You understood that now, even still... a quick clean up couldn't hurt, right?
You stood in the middle of the room, five minutes later, surrounded by a bunch of neatly aligned trash-bags and a mostly clean, though kinda of empty, apartment "There... that's better."
During your spring cleaning, You had procured a pair of Jeans, her fiance was a tight fit but it beat the trousers that Val had ripped.
You looked back at Belle as You left for the balcony, she looked uncomfortable, the fear from before still painted on her pretty face "Have a Nice Dream" You commanded before closing the balcony door behind you, unsure whether it would do any good or not... still, You had to find rose, no time to waste!
"East-Bank roof, East-Bank roof!" You repeated, jumping from roof to roof as the darkness of the night began to relent into a gentle Azure "Shit!" the Sun was not far, your former Golden god, coming soon to cook you into a blackened pile of bones.
Moving as quickly as your legs could carry You, you passed above the high street, flying over the cars and people below, the fear of being spotted lifted, replaced only with finding Rose.
Casting Your eyes around the rooftop, the virgin rays of the sun gently breaching the horizon. You flicked up the large collar on your coat and pulled down the hat that Rose had given You, "Rose!" You called frantically, tossing yourself over to the long and segmented roof of the City's East-Bank. For a moment You couldn't see anyone until the Gentle sounds of breathing caught Your ears, You sped towards the sound on the left side of the building and...
There She sat, against an electrical box, she almost looked peaceful, sat upright, her head pointing up towards the morning sky, You weren't sure what to make of her, her eyes were closed, body mangled with lacerations, covered and I mean absolutely covered in her own blood, her battered face painted crimson, her clothes town and her hair matted with blood, the sun was upon You.
I'm sure that You remember what it's like to stand beneath the morning sun, pleasant, calming almost, imagine if that was almost completely reversed, the warm rays, now unforgiving blasts of a holy ****, the mild heat now scorching, making you screech as you hid behind a steep part of the roof. Rose coughed, red flying from her torn lips as her left eye opened slightly "Ch..." She tried to speak, the words fading into a gargle as she did.
This was bad, You had to get her away, get her out before the Sun could touch her... wait, Her breathing... You could hear it like actually Hear it, How do you hear false breath? and her blood, it had this scent, almost like it had a little life in it, but nothing hit you more than when a ray of sunlight crept along, touching the skin on her exposed hands, nothing happened?
"What the fuck?" You said through monstrously twisted jaws, it didn't matter, You could get answers later, what mattered above everything else was getting out of the sunlight and getting Rose to safety.
You did everything to cover Your skin and rushed over to her, carefully taking her limp body into your arms, making her gasp in pain, there was no doubt about it, that was a real breath... and Vampires. don't. breath.
The Sun hadn't covered everything yet, You had maybe a few minutes, where could you go? going back to the Hotel was impossible, not enough time... but Belle's place? it would be a gamble, you might not make it in time, "Char....." Rose wheezed again, it was a chance you'd have to take!
Travelling the roofs was a lot harder with Rose, being extremely careful not to injure her further, Her body felt a little warm, just what was she, An Inquisitor from a different Clan than the Gerix, not a superior like you but something else, though while she was covered in blood like this... You couldn't help but be reminded of when Valerica **** You the first time, her skin coated in a sheen of blood.
You threw Rose and Yourself up to the balcony, the quickly Rising Sun, soon to make contact with You. Rose was **** as You pulled yourself up to the Balcony, immediately going to let yourself in, something was wrong...
You tried to touch the sliding door handle to gain entry, but You couldn't... "Come on, Come on!" You snarled, still unable to even touch it "H-How did You get up here?" You looked up, on the other side of the glass inside of the apartment, was a short, bearded man, probably in his late twenties and wrapped with confusion "Open the Door." You insisted, Your eyes looking over to the couch where an **** Belle still lay, "What do You want... what happened to her?" He was nervous, but You didn't have the time to waste "Listen, My friend is hurt, I need some help, I promise I'll explain." You tried to sound calm as possible, even with the sun at Your back. The Man Paused, looking between You for a moment before hesitantly opening the Sliding doors.
