Check in with the nobles

Your best bet to find out what is going on is to check in with the lord of this town. You take your yurt up to the Manor house where you and Hwin are greeted by guards. "The king has sent us, as his knights, to investigate news of disturbances and weird sightings in this town." You declare.

"We request an audience with the Lord of Manor, here are our official documents," Hwin added and handed over two roles of parchment. She had been teaching you to read and write as you travelled but with only a few days you still only knew the basics. Her father had taught her saying it was an important skill to have otherwise people could manipulate you simply by handing you fancy pieces of paper and telling you what they want when you ask what it says. The guard looked at your documents that the king had given to you after knighting you.

"Very well, Lady Hwin and Sir Storm, allow us to inform the Lord of your presents and we will be with you shortly." The guard said.

"One other request. My adopted children are in my Yurt. While we are meeting with the Lord can you guard it and keep them safe, please." You request

"Very well, Sir." The Guard replies.

While you wait, you go back inside the Yurt and make sure Mary and Amra are ok. You feed Amra with a hole dead rabbit, she is gaining quite an appetite. "Mary, we are going to meet with the Lord, If you need anything ask the guard outside but don't let them into the Yurt or they will likely try and Kill Amra." You instruct the girl.

"Yes, Storm." She replies. Amra may call you Dada but Mary is old enough to remember her parents. Also, you promised to make her your squire you should start training her soon.

The guard returns "The Lord and lady will see you now." He declares.
