Giving her time (Aurora's perspective)

Aurora glanced at the room where her makeshift sleeping receptacle had been set up. It was strange, she thought, that humans bathed in these. Her own body would need exfoliating soon...his face flashed again in her mind, and she buried her face in her knees. Sex and infatuation both tinted the room, glowing from her body. How could this have happened so fast? She hadn't imprinted yet, but her instincts were trying to.

Stars above, were they trying. Their animalistic encounter flashed through her mind again, and she let out a vibrating groan. She heard a gentle series of thuds on the wooden portal, followed by James's muffled voice.

"Aurora, are you okay?"

Okay. That was their strange word for peace that almost isn't peace. She echoes the word. "Ohhkay...thynk.", she managed. These words are so hard! Why do they have to use their teeth to speak?! Teeth are for rending meat, not communication! Frustration ran along her arms.

"Okay...", she heard him say, "I'm here when you finish."

Why does that voice have to be so alluring?! It sounded like sex. He'd said their faces looked like anger when it meant sex...did that mean he wanted it again, too? She knew she had **** him, but he hadn't been angry. His female aid was certainly upset...had she taken someone else's mate?

They didn't act like that had happened. At least not in any way she would expect. She couldn't bring herself to act on her desires again until she knew for sure if he and the woman were mates or not. Still, the thoughts of their encounter had her hands wandering down to her lower folds, idly toying with her left clitoris below the water. Everything in her screamed that her feelings we're wrong. He's not even the same species! It's like mating with a monkey! And yet the very idea, with him, burned lust across the room along her body. Her gut tensed up, and she slid one of her fingers into her hungry canal and paused. If she does this. If she does it now, thinking of him. She may imprint on him for good. If that happened, would Sally be okay with it? Would she be commiting herself to stealing another's mate? Would it make her a pariah from her own race? To pursue a life-bond with a primate?
