A slip up

"What the hell?"

You spin around to see Abby sitting on your bed. Both of you are speechless as you stand there, wondering what to do. When Joe had lunged at you and you teleported away, you had picked the place you assume was the safest and where you'd be alone, your bedroom at the estate.

"What just happened?! Did you just appear out of thin air?" Abby asks, shocked and puzzled. She has some papers in her hand that she probably needs you to sign, which would explain why she was waiting for you in your room.

You hold your hands up to stall Abby as you think about what to do. Your first thought is to use your mind control ring and wipe her memory of this incident, but you would really hate to mess with Abby's mind since she's virtually taken over running your life and you don't want to do anything that might jeopardize her mental abilities.
